Stone doesn't look anything like Gwen there. I bet she won't even have that hairband or same shade of blonde but will be strawberry blonde to suit Stone. I thought with Garfield cast we would get very classic looking versions of the characters this time round, but obviously not.

It's her eyes. They really put me off seeing Gwen on her.

1st off, she's a natural blonde. 2nd of all, she's a good actress, so she can pull it off in that respect.

You know what? I've thought it over and Emma as Gwen is fine with me. It’s possible that she tested with Andrew and they just happened to have incredible chemistry together and they decided that although at first glance she’d be a perfect MJ she actually worked better as Gwen. She is an actress people. I know her recent roles have made her seem like the perfect Mary Jane but maybe she’d like to branch out and try a different sort of role? People should give her a chance before just putting that casting off. I know a lot of people were against the idea of Andrew as Peter Parker but he’s clearly won a lot of other people over, maybe if you give Emma a chance to be Gwen she’ll actually surprise you.

I'm a bit shocked that Stone is playing Gwen , but I'll wait and see how she does. Fanboys have to deal with Synder directing Superman and Stone as Gwen Stacy all in the same week.Lol. Maybe a Batman 3 shoe is the next to drop.

That's what I was thinking. I mean we got news a couple days ago that Emma was going to be asked to play MJ. Mary Jane! Not Gwen! Bastards tricked us. Unless there was some mis-communication between Sony and the media, which I doubt. But well, thank Zeus we're getting a Gwen Story I suppose
