how are you getting so many caps?....I've never had more than 500 at any given time....

I am not the nicest character, so before I blew up Megaton, I killed and robbed everyone. Then I helped the ghouls move into Tenpenny Tower, but after I realized the main ghoul still killed all the humans, I murdered and robbed everyone in there.

Selling stuff is also a good way, but for my current character, getting all the use out of people and then murdering and robbing them, is the preferred method.

I currently have almost 3,000

You blew up Megaton!? How could you! :csad:

you're going to hell and hell in Fallout is probably a lot worse than regular hell

Oh, and also, people tend to give you a lot of caps for some side quests. I have a decent Speech rating, too, so I can usually talk them up a bit. Some people give as much as 300 to 500 caps for relatively easy quests.

I wanted to live in Tenpenny Tower.

Though, in retrospect, it probably would have taken two less load screen to warp to my house in Megaton, then it does to get to my house in Tenpenny.

I don't kill everyone though. I didn't kill anyone for the Shoot 'em in the Head mission, and I'm not planning to murder everyone in the Oasis (which I'm currently doing the mission for)

I am quite a conflicted character.

And I wast just going to share some NukaLurk Meat with you

Just don't be a jackass and I won't Repellent Stick your face in afterwards and steal your clothes.

That's the one? I only got there on 2nd play

Oh, yeah, I misread. Vault 108 is the clone one. I went there because I wanted to get the Charisma bobblehead so I can get the Animal Friend Perk.

I have a friend who's been playing and anyone he kills he loots them for their clothes and then drops them on the spot...

I went back to 101 and convinced them to stay put....I was kinda ticked because I figured I could use that for a base or something if I could settle the issue

I just got the T-51b Power Armor not long ago, and the helmet is already destroyed. :cmad:

I'm sure they can fix it for you in Megat.. no, wait

That's the thing that sucks about that armor. You can't repair it because nothing else can be used for spare parts. I'm thinking when I get it, I'll give it to Charon and just continue with my unpowered Ranger Armor.

According to the Fallout Wiki, the Medical Armor might repair it, and shops can do it. I hate paying for repairs though, it's way too expensive.

I should just run around naked and not deal with degrading armor.

Cherry? I see her in Rivet City now and she's like, "Yeah, what do you want, a medal?" Ungrateful cow. :o

I hate it on principle. I've got 80 Repair, goddamnit, and I intend to use it. :o

You can always get your caps back.. by killing whoever repaired it for you. It's consistent with your character :hehe:

Sometimes, before I do something bad, I'm like "Can I really do this? It seems mean." and I soon remember that I nuked an entire city and that there's no going back.

Even my in-game Dad told me how disappointed he was in me before sending me to fix his silly purifier.
