The Official Flash thread - Part 1

kids with dreams do. remember when you were a kid and you thought Batman broke? or when Superman died?

I honestly don't think you believe that, I think you are just wanting to win an argument. I mean, did you honestly believe, even as a kid, that Dc were going to do away with their two most famous superheroes? I was a teen when they did those storylines, but even as a wee baby boy when i was buying the DC's , I knew who thier top heroes were, and knew they would never stop publishing comics with those characters, no matter what.
Yeah, they will try all sorts of psychological tricks to get you thinking that way, all the stuff in the mainstream press, trying to achieve the psych effect of 'If enough people tell you that's what it is, and there are plants all around who are trying to do that, you will just laugh and go along with it, what the hell, I'll biy that for a dollar.', but really you know it isn't true. It's more along the lines of another psych trick, you know they are trying to get you to think of a donkey, you have no reason to think of a donkey, but cause you know they are trying to get you to think that, one day your mind will just think of a donkey. It's an old trick, and people will try and make a thing of it, when really it was nothing, and that was the plan all along, to make something out of nothing. The ones with the agenda to sell know there is nothing to beieve, but that is the only agenda they have left to push, to sell the comics they want. But the smart kids know it is all bs ,no matter what tricks they try to sell an idea.

Could you elaborate on this please?
At C2E2 someone asked for more Wally West after Flashpoint and Berganza said, "There's a 'Kid Flash Lost,' so what's that about?"

Which makes me say if the revert Wally Bart in anyway I will be pissed.

If they revert Wally West in anyway after Flashpoint than I will come down on DC Comics like the hammer of Thor. The thunder of my vengeance will echo through their offices like the gust of a thousand winds

But Bart is more Wally's partner than Barry's. So maybe that means the book will be about Bart being lost and Wally doing the searching?

It's already been confirmed that the Kid Flash in Kid Flash Lost is Bart. The title of the book is called Kid Flash Lost: Starring Bart Allen for crying out loud!

I see, thanks.

I would think that if Bart were lost Max would be the one to go looking for him.

Really? Damn, one good part to Flash: Rebirth and I completely missed it. What's he doing now?

If for some dumb reason they were to revert Wally back to Kid Flash status... Well why don't they stuff Dick Grayson back into the Robin suit while they're at it. :o

Wally West was my generation's Flash. He became The Flash a year before I was born. He was the star of the Flash comics for pretty much my whole life, and he was the Flash in the cartoons I grew up with. Whatever DC is planning to do with this fine mess they've invented ever since they decided that Barry Allen was going to get better from his case of the deadsies, they had better tread lightly on Wally's turf.

Maybe we will get lucky and Barry will be killed off again in Flashpoint

Sorry MF :csad:

I am just missing Wally and finding the current Flash ongoing so boring

how could it be boring if you never read it?

i get not every book is for everybody, but this has been a really fun book so far imo

no seriously, i don't see why you would buy it. it's Geoff Johns. It's about Barry. It doesn't have any LGBT characters in it. It has nothing that would appeal to you. That's why i don't believe you have read it :o

my complaint about the book is that it reads too fast, no pun intended :awesome:

I do not buy it Assasin

I just read it in the store

Glad your liking it Lix but I have not enjoyed it

I gave it a chance but did not like it at all :down

He should have stayed dead in the first place. However, him being killed off again is better than the current status of blah. I want Wally back, and I want him as the main Flash again.
