The Flash's post-"Flashpoint" uniform.

Still looks pretty much 'the same. I'm glad that Francis is coming back to the series.

If they pick Trickster as the villain, Macualay Culkin could play him.

Any actor suggestions for the other bad guys?

With the whole DC reboot, I expect Johns and Lee will announce 'the move news with a huge splash as well. There's Cimic Con, but there's also that LA Times Hero Complex Film Con in mid June where they are reported to have big news there too.

So they might announce the projects in June THEN bring in the directors to Comic Con.

Let's hope so because the DC train is a-boarding and it can not be stopped!

It should be all about Barry Allen. They better not rush the story along just to get Wally West in. Just like we can get a Hal Jordan trilogy, the same could be done for The Flash.

I suggest Ridley Scott and Paul Verhoeven for directors.

According to IMDB and some other website sites, Greg Berlanti is the director. We will have to wait and see for Comic Con :)

Well, why did Greg Berlanti leave the Green Lantern film? Because they needed someone more experienced to do such a big film. The Flash is also a huge character. Repeat the same procedure here, please.

^ The Flash is not as massive and CGI-heavy as Green Lantern.

I'm a fan of Greg Berlanti's writing, but I don't either think he could handle to direct a movie. I wish for a better director, maybe James McTeigue?

Aim high when it comes to directors. Don't settle for berlanti.

I think we're getting a little off-topic here, but I feel that they were sidekicks - and that's not a bad thing. Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, etc. They were all sidekicks.

((( just my $0.02 )))
just clarifying i was saying wm and glc members aren't sidekicks, but yea robin and them are sidekicks. but you are right back to the flash.

OPAZO and Octoberist are right. We should not take Berlanti just because he's a fan. If that should be the way to go, then why not even take one of us to direct it?
No, find someone who knows blockbuster-making. The Flash deserves it.
Timur sounds interesting. Good pick. What about Paul Verhoeven? Wolfgang Petersen? David Fincher? John Landis? Or Baz Lurhmann with his red curtain films (remember the color of Flash).

Your joking about John Landis right? Guy hasn't done a good film since the 80's.

I think Landis can get the chance to show his talents. He brings that element of humor many people are asking for. And now he's in the middle of a "comeback try".
If George Miller, that has-been dude, can get Justice League - then why not Landis for a solo hero? And actually finish the production, and release it.

Do you really wanna risk The Flash on a guy who in the middle of a "comeback try"? If this was the 80'a I'd agree with you but Landis is a has been and needs to stay away.

Landis has been struggling for 'the past two decades. No to him.

Maybe the director from Matrix could direct The Flash?
I would love some cool slow motion scenes! Andy Wachovski could maybe handle it I guess...

^ George Miller isn't really a has-been. Happy Feet had just come out when he got Justice League: Mortal, and the Babe and Mad Max franchises were there to prove he has the talent to manage both sides of the movie spectrum.

I'd rather a director who doesn't chop up little kids. So no to Landis.
