Devon who? LOL

My choices:

Mary Elizabet Winstead as Iris West and Jake Gyllenhaal as Barry Allen.

Now I thought about it, I can actually see this realistically. Decent choices there

Oh boy, I'm really hoping what Robinov is saying about having a solid script for a Flash movie is not the script that's written by Berlanti. After GL I think it's better if they hire a new screenwriter and just start over from scratch. I'll never get tired of saying this, better safe than sorry but then again, Robinov could be just saying for the sake of it, who knows how long until we see another non Batman or Superman DC superhero movie? Nonetheless I certainly don't want them to rush out one.

Gyllenhaal is not bad, certainly a better choice than this Sawa but I love MEW for Iris West. Great pick there.

If they really have a solid scritp, what are they waiting for to hire a director and start production?

I think Robinov doesn't know what he says, he just does that to stop speculations for a while...

I hope they produce a solid Flash movie, though.

And with Gyllenhaal ans Winstead starring! :)

Because they're still in the middle of Batman, Superman, and every other movie WB is working on.

Jake Gyllenhall? No.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead? Maybe.

^ Agreed.

I had a dream that Tim Tebow was playing the Flash.

My dream is for Joe Cornish as the director of The Flash!!

P.S Who should be the villain/villains in a Flash movie?

You need a villain that ties into the origin, and then a villain with a very simple explanation.

I'd suggest Mr. Element/Dr. Alchemy as responsible for the chemicals that get struck by lightning in his quest to create a philosopher's stone of some sort, and Captain Boomerang, the one rogue who doesn't need anything but a knife sharpener to become reality. Boomerang would also make an interesting CSI case.

MEW and JG are solid choices, I don't think JG is a good actor though, he's kinda one-note, and I think you'll get something similar to Evans as Cap, something serviceable, but forgettable and not great like RDJ's Tony Stark or Bale's Batman.

Ryan Gosling could bring this home, and he's the only crazy talented young fit blonde guy I know of. Chris Pine could also bring this home.

Great picks.

P.S Who should be the villain/villains in a Flash movie?

They should just go with Professor Zoom. Cap, Thor and Hulk all worked using their archenemies, plus, Thawne ties into the origin being the enemy that Barry hadn't made yet.

^How is that a tie in to the origin? They are completely separate events with no emotional connection between them. Also, once you go Zoom, you can't raise the stakes with another villain. Use Zoom if you're only going to do one Flash movie.

And Cap's villain didn't 'work,' imho. His tension with Cap felt artificial and he simply defeated himself. Hulk wasn't an origin movie, so it had room to tell the story of an archnemesis developing. Thor's archnemesis ties in directly to his origin, that is, they have the same origin at the same time and just do different things with what they get. And even though that's true, raising the stakes with Thor will be difficult, unless they flashback in some history with Amora.

I think with Mr Element/Dr Alchemy and Boomerang you have a good mix. Have Element running around pre Barry as Flash, Flash takes him down, Boomerang pops up as a side thing to annoy, then Dr Alchemy for the big end battle.

Nah, I think Jake Gyllenhaal is the best for Barry. To me he looks more the part than any of the others mentioned, plus he has proper talent behind him and I'd like to see him as a super hero.

Also the greatness of RDJ and Bale in those roles is personal taste, so it's hardly fair to compare them.

Y'know, I forgot all the good stuff JG has done in the past. I hate his recent stuff. He could definitely bring this one home. All performances are up for personal taste, but at the end of the day, you can rate RDJ and Bale technically, and the peformance was still accessible enough to make millions (billions) of dollars. There's a difference between your mileage may vary and 'some guys didn't like it.' I personally didn't really love either of the characters, but they did a very good job with them, and the movies were good enough that I found other things to love.

That is even cooler, the kind of evolution of the villain. It'd also be cool if they brought in Albert and Barry's friendship from the comics, from when Mr. Element turned good for a time.
