Joseph Mazzello will LOOK old enough for the role when the film's starting to shoot.

To me that's just the rebooted Earth 2 Jay Garrick. Not Barry Allen.

You know he will be 29 this year, don't you?
Or did you think I wanted a little boy to play The Flash?

I'm sure he's aware that things age. I think he just wants an actor who can get parts with lines.

At the basics of it. The design you posted was ugly to me. Not even because it was a redisgn it just didnt look good.

I'm not opposed to tweaking costumes but if their gonna do it, do it well. One redesign I did like was this one.

Otherwise, just change the material and the regular Flash costume will work fine

Sweet. I like this redesign. However I would rather go with this one

Infact I think they're both the same. Just that the one for Injustice has a belt and it looks more classic to me.
I'm not opposed to a chin guard as well. I think itll be pretty cool.

But ofcourse, it has to be barry allen.

The Flash's gallery of villains is filled with freaked out guys.
I guess the actors that play them should have a somewhat different appearance than other people too.
I can easily imagine Andy Serkis as one of the rouges.
Mel Gibson? A tad too old these days, but he can still play bad ass roles. I guess it's not easy to work with him because of his tempers.
Johnny Depp plays very often freaks. Would it be too much with that thing again here?
And what would you say if Macaulay Culkin took on the role as Trickster, or Edward Furlong was casted as Captain Boomerang? Those two are propably the most hated actors on the planet.

I dont think Flash's costume should look metallic, at all.

it should look slick, smooth, friction resistant.

it should look like it did on the TV show, but with sleeker design and must have the yellow boots :)

The Flash TV show costume to me is perfect. Sure it's got Wally's belt and the boots are wrong, but they took my favorite superhero costume and made it not suck.

Did anyone here ever watch the short lived Flash tv show from the early 90s? If so, what did you think of it?

Yeah, I loved the series too. I even think that the Flash pilot would've made for a decent Flash movie back when it was made. Not so for the current times given the increasing quality in superhero flicks.

Martin Scorsese said Hugo Cabret made him see things with a kid's eyes for the first time. It was not only his first 3D movie, but also the first time he made a family film with a boy as the main character. I know it can't be compared with Peter Pan, Harry Potter or any other story that have actual magic in them - but parts of Hugo can actually be sorted in the same genre. Mostly because of it's visual style, and the sense of wonder it has.
Maybe Marty will soon be ready for a superhero adaption? And The Flash could be the right one for him because it's more grounded in reality than Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hawkman because they require so much more.

How about "Warner Brothers present Martin Scorsese's The Flash"?

It's a dream, Martin's too big I think. Though if we are doing dream pix how about Sr Speilbergo?

You know, it's all our damn fault. We need to start forcing everyone we know to like Flash as much as Batman and a movie would be made in no time...

Well, I keep telling people to read the new run, but people keep looking at me like I'm mental. Then again I keep telling people to read TMNT and no one does...

Maybe they're put off by Barry Allen getting the "One More Day" treatment with "Flashpoint" and the lack of Wally West.
