I was once optimistic as well. This movie MADE me hate it, and I already hated FOX because of what they did to Daredevil back in 2003. So imagine how I felt watching this crap in the theaters with the five other people who "tched" throughout the entire thing. This movie was horrendous and I encourage all of you to NOT waste your money, or even donate a dime to FOX.

I seriously cannot believe how optimistic I was going into it, and coming out feeling like crap the rest of the day after having seen it. It's that bad.

I was exactly the same,

i think neanderthal would be more appropriate than Evo......blah blah...whatever.

it looks like goku was wearing the boots. i also noticed today that when they are driving in the yamcha's car goku is starting to suit up. and it looks like that eh also had those boots in the final fight. but hes pants were to big that we didnt see them.
of course we all know that the reason the GI and pants were so big is..........OOZARU.

he actually wore this for this promo shot. it was only blue. i only changed teh color.
so they had it but they didnt use it enough.

goku in the final battle has better hair. you all saw this right? well i personal thought that thats how he will now always had hes hair. i was wrong. after the fiight when he is with chi chi he has again GEL in hes hair.

of course we all know that the reason the GI and pants were so big is..........OOZARU.

It didn't make sense though.

Goku changes into Oozaru and he loses his belt and the blue gi underneath his orange gi. Oozaru's chest and such is visible but when he turns back into Goku the blue gi is back and so it the belt! Makes no sense!!

yeah...sorry about that. that suit is okay i suppose. i honestly could care less how exactly they did the suit as long as it looked somewhat like his classic one. those baggy pants make it look less like Goku's suit and more like a samurai's costume, but regardless of whatever suit Chatwin wore he still wouldn't have embodied Goku.

He looked NOTHING like Goku and acted like NO Goku version ever created. Horrible casting for almost everyone in the movie. The Grandfather was the best character in the entire movie. LOL. no...for real!!!!

Yea the pants are horrendous...wait...EVERYTHING about this picture is horrendous. What are they doing? no real martial artist punches like any of them and they both seem to be pathetic amateurs because no martial art teaches you to be in full punch stance until almost an inch away from the target. The punches from where they are look stupid and very uncoordinated. aren't these supposed to be martial arts experts???? Is there ANYTHING they took serious in this movie? The gi He wears in this wouldn't make sence if speed were to be a factor in a martial arts fight. Goku kicks at tremendous rates and these pants would catch too much wind causing it to be an irritant. Piccolo's outfit is too busy. The armor would not allow his speed to be effective. The movie was just not thought out or taken seriously AT ALL in ANYTHING they did. What style did anyone use in the movie? were they just throwing punches and kicks? Dragon Ball has actual styles used and developed in asia.

Bruce Lee must be turning in his grave after all he worked for for his culture. This is a mockery and I have lost ALL faith in anything I see from now on with Fox on it and doesn't have an academy award director behind it.

I think Chatwin looks awesome as Goku, I hope he has the performance down. Considering his muscle size, he can always increase his size in the sequels, he doesn't have to be uber big for the first movie.
