Is he my first choice? No. If I had the choice to pic someone else would I? Yes.

But I don't have a problem with it really. I mean, Goku isn't really a hard role to play. LOL

A few years ago my first choice was Tom Welling, until I started seeing other actors in action. Tom Welling is a good actor but wouldn't be too good as Goku so my other choices would be either Hugh Jackman or Chris Evans (Fantastic Four).

Chris Evans would be good but he`d have to wear a wig...and Hugh Jackman would be good if it was DB:GT

No one would have to wear a wig for Goku, his hair doesn't ever need to be that big in a live action movie.

Pretty much all my choices had similar facial features. Tom Welling, Henry Cavill, and even Zac Efron p). Thankfully Justin has those same features, just his are not as sharp.

Justin Chatwin looks exactly like Goku. The only thing I'm worried about is how he portrays him acting-wise.

I remember hearing he was watching episodes of "Dragon Ball" (or "Dragon Ball Z") to get the character down pat. This is good news, and I hope he plays it enough like the cartoon.

Anyone heard of Forbidden Kingdom? It's an upcoming movie that stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li together for the first time. One of the characters finds the fabled Monkey King's staff, what we know as the "Power Pole" in the American dubbed Dragon Ball. It's basically Journey to the West but with big changes, which definitely wouldn't be the first time [i.e. Dragon Ball].

Justin Chatwin looks exactly like Goku. The only thing I'm worried about is how he portrays him acting-wise.

If he's so dedicated that he's watching both shows, I'm sure he will do a great job as Goku & will give us the best performance possible.

All three... No. Not for Goku. Hugh Jackman is too rough, and would never be able to pull off the light-hearted side of Goku (which is his most prominant side). Chris Evans... Naw. The FF stigma is a terrible one he'll never be able to get rid of.

What? Along with Michael Chiklis, Evans was one of the only people to do justice to his role. Chiklis & Evans were great, the others, not so much.
