The more I learn about this film, the more I truly believe it will be a sleeper hit -- both critically and fiscally. If James Wong can duplicate some of his past brilliance while sustaining and incorporating the mysticism and charisma of the Dragonball world, we may have a winner on our hands. However, it's far too early to really tell. A trailer will give us a far better idea.
I'm actually stoked that Justin Chatwin is Goku. Call me crazy but I think he's perfect. Not only does he have the look but at his age, if the film is a hit, he will grow nicely into the role.

There's no reason why it couldn't be. It is an original concept that could have been adapted in a way Lord of the Rings was, it could have had a larger scope and epic feel. I saw so much potential in DB![]()
