I honestly hope they don't even bring up Super Saiyans, and if they do, I'd like to see it be treated as a myth in their universe, a-la ...jedi in episode 4.

I personally think a super saiyan in a climatic part three film would be an awesome way to end the Dragon Ball Film franchise.

This is Dragonball, I doubt they will even mention what a saiyan is until the end of the movie, let alone a super saiyan.

Regarding the whole 'Chatwin isn't built enough' issue, I don't really see a problem with it. Remember almost 10 years ago, a movie came out called 'The Matrix'? Most of the major characters could move really fast and possessed superhuman strength though none had the most muscular of physiques. Yet, nobody ever complained about it.

They were in a computer simulation where they could bend the laws of physics. Not the same thing.

But he's not super trained in this movie. I mean it's not like he's supposed to be all Super Saiyan like in DBZ. It is a Dragonball movie, afterall. I'm not expecting super built up... (A little toned might be nice, though....)

That's because they defied the computer system's set laws of physics, like "hacking real life." Or in the Matrix's case, "hacking fake life."

nit picking is saying that Chatwin's eyes are the wrong color or his toes are shaped funny. the fact that he's skinny is deal breaker for a lot of fans that aren't regulars on these DB boards. if you look on other sites that talk about this movie there's constant mention about how some scrawny dude is playing Goku. when it's a constant complaint across the board, it's not a nit pick. you're just trying to downgrade it to a nit pick so it doesn't seem that big of a deal. nit picks are things that no one else cares about but others have expressed disappointment about Chatwin's less than average build as well.
