I would like to see both as well. I don't see why it has to be one or the other. I was thinking, how about if they make the GL movies different from the other stand alones where we have both Hal and John. They could be like Riggs and Murtaugh. A buddy cop dynamic.
This!!!
I agree. I always felt that Hal and John is much better than Hal or John. Marvel uses both Iron Man and War Machine, why can't DC do something similar with Jordan and Stewart. Soft reboot Hal in the Justice League movie and then introduce John as his partner in the Green Lantern movie.
With no origin story, but agree..

If true, awesome. But "Collider"... Ehhh, are these guys trustworthy?

Collider is a very reputable movie news site. Frosty does great work!

A Green Lantern Corps movie is the best case scenario. They can then use Hal and John, along with Kyle and Guy. No one actor has to carry the movie, fans get both the characters they want and there is plenty to draw from in the source material to use more than one Lantern.

The rumor might not be true but it's what they should do.

love the current rumors.

let's be space cops!

Well, this is a "rumors" thread after all.

If it pans out, that's a great route to take.

Also, I think that which GL they use (Stewart or Jordan) in the 2-part JL film -- if he becomes a fan favorite, I can easily see the solo film giving Stewart or Jordan more focus and relegate the other two to supporting.

Yeah they don't always get it right of course but I see them as reputable. As they said nothing is set in stone but GL Corps is the best idea IMHO.

I like this potential news. Hal is just too boring, so I'm glad that we might get all the GLs.

Umm Chris Pine's kinda taken.

What do you mean? There was a rumor he'd be playing Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman but its just as likely he could be playing Hal Jordon especially since Scott Eastwood is playing Steve Trevor in suicide squad

I don't believe that has been confirmed.

Yes to Green Lantern: Space Cops.

No to Chris Pine as Hal Jordan.

I'd say yes to both rumors, but honestly couldn't care less about Pine. He'd be fine, but all I really care about is the multi-Lantern prospect.

Love the idea of Pine and making this a buddy cop movie in space is the right approach, IMO. Perfect way to satisfy fans of Hal and John (both of which are equally passionate groups).

If Pine is actually Trevor instead though, there are plenty of other actors who could do fine in the role. I'd they are going to make him a seasoned veteran, my top pick is still Jason O'Mara (Complications). Though I think they'll probably go for a bigger name.

Pine would be great I actually think Ryan Reynolds would have been good too under different circumstances.

What if we had Nathan Fillion play Hal and Chris pine play Kyle raynor?

An out of the box casting idea for Hal could be JOSH BROLIN. He easily looks like he could be a pilot and former Air Force officer, and if they decide to go with an older Hal and a younger John Stewart I think he'd be perfect

Yeah I believe Chris Pine is 100% playing Steve Trevor, and I think set reports on Suicide Squad mentioned Scott Eastwood has a 'Wilson' name tag on his army fatigues, causing most people to assume he's playing a pre-Deathstroke Slade (Though he'd be more of a Grant Wilson type).
