What if we had Nathan Fillion play Hal and Chris pine play Kyle raynor?

An out of the box casting idea for Hal could be JOSH BROLIN. He easily looks like he could be a pilot and former Air Force officer, and if they decide to go with an older Hal and a younger John Stewart I think he'd be perfect

Eh, I used to hate Kitsch but he's growing on me the more I watch True Detective. I don't really see him as Hal but he's not the worst they could do.

I want ANY Green Lantern news from SDCC at this point, but Pine-as-Hal would be spectacular. Given that Hal shares many personality traits with Capt. Kirk and we're getting a GL/Star Trek crossover, Pine seems like an organic choice.

Haha, actually, I wasn't really referring to Matt Damon. Meth Damon is a nickname that the internet has given to Jesse Plemons' character on Breaking Bad (Todd). I was actually suggesting Plemons for the role.

Gods, if Pine chooses Hal, I'll be so truckin happy. all WB would need is terry crews as John and they'd pretty much save the GL franchise (okay, the writing is another matter completely)

I agree Rorchach, but you gotta remember the Hal rumors come from the scoopers and the less reliable sites, while the Trevor information is from the trades. Honestly I do want to believe the notion that they announced Pine was up for Trevor to BS us to not suspect that he is actually Hal, but at the same time when was the last time they did something like this? Did they ever? It just sounds too good to be true to me.

Apparently WB/DC gave The Rock the choice of playing either Shazam or Black Adam (and he made the right choice imo). So I can kind of believe that they might do the same with Pine.
