It's amazing how much is flowing out. I mean, Thor pics will be revealed in May, and we're barely into shooting and we've got almost everything. Concept art, set pics, actors, the whole shebang. All we need now are costume pics.

I don't think they have any desert areas in Louisiana, though they could have just shot it in Texas but whatever.

yea wicked photo if that is indeed abin sur's spaceship. I would figure it is. Though i wonder if he is crashing in the river or maybe it skips across the river and crashs on the banks, and then hal arrives and pulls out abin sur and he dies and all that. Well you also have to remember they have mostly been shooting outside/location shots so far in the past few weeks for gl with a few scenes done in the studio we have been told of. Compared to thor's first 2-3 months shooting all in studio and now just getting location work done and all that. As for why the ship is in river instead of desert. They probably decided to change it in the script due to time and budget probably.

Aside from RR, Blake Lively and a few extras -- I haven't seen any set pics of Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard or Tim Robbins. Heck, no Angela Bassett footage either.

Although, due to the scenes their hooting right now, Mark Strong won't show up. It looks like they'll be doing all the Earth scenes first, and then use a set for the rest.

Brian Truitt of USA Today recently caught up with veteran movie baddie Mark Strong at the Who's News event. Strong, who stars in the upcoming movies KICK-ASS, Robin Hood and John Carter of Mars will be heading to the New Orleans filming location of Martin Campbell's Green Lantern sometime in June after he wraps on the Carter set.

yea it does seem all the location stuff right now being shot are all earth bound stuff, and stuff they probably wanted to get down at the start of the production to get off smoothly and all that. Then all the space/oa and what not stuff being shot later in the production like may and june as we know strong isnt shooting to june. So right now its probably just ryan, blake, who ever it is playing tom i forgot his name, abin's actor, robbins, hammond, carl, and other folks. As for who is the alien gls, angela and all that is probably to be later in shoot.
