Great flick! God I hate Fergie.
Grindhouse made $4,239,000 in its secont weekend, the domestic total $19,700,000.
It's not as bad as Waterworld - how long did that take? Ten years?
As I suspected, it tanked in it's second weekend too. Doesn't matter if the nerds and critics like a film, you need regular people to like it too. And no matter what the nerds say GrindHouse doesn't look any smarter than Wild Hogs and I'm pretty sure it isn't, considering RR seems incapable of making a good film let along a smart one. I like QT's movies but Death Proof looks weak as hell. I'll be seeing the movie on DVD...like most people; hopefully I'll like atleast one film.Grindhouse made $4,239,000 in its secont weekend, the domestic total $19,700,000.

But her **** are good.![]()
Actually - releasing Machete on DVD is a really good idea.
You have the ****heads at the MPAA who will ask to cut everything out - on DVD, Robert has complete control, and he can have as much violence, blood, guts, boobies, and violence as he wants.
Did I say boobies?
Death Proof was one of the most God awful movies I've ever seen. Least likable heroines and the least sympathetic victims EVER (the second bunch). There was great tension with the car stunts but wow, worst characters ever. Except for Stunt man Mike.
Really enjoyed Planet Terror at least.

My favorite part of the GH experience! The Machete trailer was AWESOME, and I definitely want MORE!!
I'm the exact same.I thought Planet Terror was just to way over the top. Unlike most people who saw both films, I enjoyed Death Proof more than I did "Planet Terror".
