Didn't rulk come around in like june or july of '08 ?
January of '08 I think.
When did Skarr come around? Late 07?
The crossover got me to drop the book altogether. I liked Banner and Skarr's dynamic, but it wasn't enough to keep me reading in the midst of what seemed like an incredibly stupid crossover. And now there's World War Hulks, which looks equally stupid. If Skarr's still around after all this junk, I'll try out whatever series he lands in. 'Til then, the big event has had the complete opposite effect on me than what Marvel intended.Yeah, Banner & son is a much more entertaining storyline than the forced cross-over.

I'm on the fence with A-Bomb...I could go either way with Rick.
They should fix Rick (and Marlo! Where the hell did she go after they revealed that she was the new Harpy?) and bring back Blonsky.

I was greatly enjoying my IH, I even tolerated the "Hulk" and "Red Hulk" comics they tied into. Now FotH is over and WWHs has begun, and I can't deny it any longer. They went the route I suspected after so long. Everyone is HULKING OUT! And I'm not sure if I want to stay for the long run or not.
The idea of everyone turning into Hulks is so gimmicky. Its not like we don't already have enough new Hulks running around in addition to the old ones. Obviously these changes wont even be shown outside of the Hulk books (which is good I guess). Spider-Man may be gamma-drenched in all the Hulk books, but in ASM? He'll be the same. It gets on my nerves when these events run simetaneously with the rest of the 616 universe yet happen separate from the rest of 616...
OK, how does Bucky's arm Hulk out? While the rest of him should increase in mass, how does his arm hulk-out and grow spikes? Why does Thor look the way he does? The lightning tattoos, the blue glowing, and the beard that he just spontaneously grows...WolverHulk is covered in dark brown/red hair...or is that apart of his costume? Which makes no sense if that is his hulked-out costume, but since when do Hulks spurt that much body hair? And are his claws now bone-claw (going by the Hulk 22 cover). These new Hulks just look awful, is where I'm going at.
Guys, these hulked out superheroes' appearances aren't supposed to "make sense" but just "look cool". Bucky's arm, Thor's beard, Wolverine's claws, etc are pretty much McGuinness having fun. If we really wanted to get technical, nothing about gamma radiation exposure should have made Bruce turn green and grow muscles...he should have just gotten cancer.
