I'm not knocking the casting but Jigsaw should be played by someone who's a great actor and when you see his name you don't have to go to IMDB to see who the hell he is and what he's been in. I hope all the money they're saving on the cast is spent on the action sequences.

I can tell you I had no idea who the hell Hugh Jackman was before Wolverine, or Eric Bana before The Hulk. In fact I had never seen a Tobey Maquire film before I heard he was playing Spider-Man. I had heard his name before but would have never been able to point him out in a line-up. And honestly most people had no idea who the hell Christian Bale was before Batman Begins. Of course most of us on these boards knew him from American Psycho and some smaller but awesome films he's made but he was never a HUGE star even though he's been acting since he's a kid. He's a terrific actor though.

It's true but they were playing extremely famous superhero characters that are household names and need no introduction.

I have heard that the son that was killed at the end is suppose to be Jigsaw. That seems to continue the whole contradicting of the last movie not the first time it's happened and will confuse the audience. I hope it's not true.
Jigsaw seems like a throwback to a Dick Tracy villain. Although he was already a criminal before he had his face screwed and has a hatred and vendeta since Punisher screwed up part of his face.

Dont worry its not true...As far as I know from the script Jigsaw will be Billy "the Beaut" Russo as he should be...I dont mind a little continuity with the first movie, but Jigsaw should be Russo for damn sure.

I am thinking that this movie is going to be on a limited budget and they will only have a certain amount of days to shoot it. Do you agree?

I will check on the Punisher dvd. While the first was easy to adapt because it didn't require the tights and cgi, special effects like most super hero antihero comic book movies have the trainning to become Frank Castle The Punisher was punishment. I expect the same to be for the The Punisher Warzone also called Welcome Back Frank.

To be honest I see this being a possible summer release after The Incredible Hulk. If not then possibly something for the Fall.

Well it depends how it's marketed and if it actully is consistent at the box office and not just coming in 2nd place. If it debuts at first then it has a very high chance of beating out what the first one made.
