Didnt know Fassbender was involved. excitement has taken much larger proportion.

Loving the description of the footage as well them saying its more of a western than a horror, and that there are supernatural elements but they arent a big factor in the story. Just got into the comics this year and it sounds like they have kept the tone spot on.

Fassbenders character is a sicko in the script.

I wonder if they keep in the conflicting tales about Hex from different people? That was a nice touch in the script I thought. Made him more of a legend.

^In the comics he is known all over, so I hope they have kept that from the script, but having different people knowing different tales about him is awesome as well.

Poster looks awesome, and the footage description sounds: :wow:

I see. Where I live, theaters show up to 10 films at once in small theaters, and 20-30 in the larger ones. And the ''core crowd'' thing was a joke. While I'm sure that damn near everyone will want to see TOY STORY 3, most of TOY STORY 3's business will be children and families. Most of JONAH HEX's won't be.

You're forgetting those who were children when Toy Story 1 and 2 came out. People have fond memories of Toy Story, even those would be more Johan's Hex target audience.

Indeed. This is a sequel TS fans have been waiting for for ten years now. Plus this is freaking Pixar. Their movies usually dominate in the box office.

This is an epic fail move just like Ice Age 3/TF2 raping Pubic Enemies...

Well like i said over in the gl threads who to say hex/other films out around the time could switch dates again.

Well, if the film flops, Josh Brolin could always go back to doing critically acclaimed films like he's done in recent years.

Didn't they say that this film was going have a modest sized budget?

I don't give a **** how much money it makes as long as I like it. Toy Story 3 will, obviously, be bigger, but I don't care because I'm not gonna see it. :woot:

I hate the way the movie title is written on the poster. Does not scream "western" to me at all.

well that is probably not how it will appear when the film starts.

for a movie with a less than a 35 million budget, the footage description sounds awesome

hopefully, they change the release date again

I'm so annoyed that I was AT Comic-Con, yet never went to this panel and saw this trailer. :(

i for one, didn't hate Public enemies, but I felt it didn't have the 'scope' that it should have. It lacked focus and honestly, I couldn't describe to you Johnny Depp's and Christian Bale's characters. Seriously. It's weird because they have a lot of dialog but there's no development at all.
