I'm a tiny bit worried, only because of the 'consultant' director brought in for the extra/re-shoots, but I'm hoping it's a conscious decision on Warner's part to just release one trailer/a couple of TV spots cut from the trailer and very little info as a sort of 'less is more' approach. Look at Kick-Ass for an example of the exact opposite with multiple trailers/featurettes/images/screenings etc... It comes out next month and it almost feels like I've already seen it, which makes me much less likely to want to see it in the theater.
After all, the footage they showed at comic-con got an overwhelmingly positive response, but it was like the only footage that never leaked to the tubes. The way I see it, it's kind of unnecessary to release a trailer now, as the fans of the comic are well aware the movie is coming, and the general public isn't really going to get interested until the TV spots start showing up a few weeks before it opens. Maybe that's just the optimist in me though... (please let it be good)
After reading the early draft of the script that was floating around, I think it'd be pretty hard to screw it up, (just cut out some of the dick/fart gags) even if they had to alter it to make it pg-13. And honestly, imagining all of Turnbull's dialogue performed by Malkovich was completely awesome and he could single-handedly redeem the movie if the rest is sub-par.
