Well done its like making money and getting interest, interest from people.

So Juggs is a super strong mutant? No ruby?

Anyone know if he has the helmet so Professor X can't get into his mind?

I don't know why he gets a helmet. I assume that it does block mental attacks like magnetos, but since they are not going to associate him with the prof in the movie, they will probably just make it some kind of generic mental blocker.

Now that I think about it, it would probably be much easier to explain his need for a helmet in the movie if they just had him be related to prof x.:down

theyre not going to make him related to proff x, that would ruin the whole comic. sighs! :down

Well, in the comics Juggs was Professor X's stepbrother.

I was just looking back at the issue where Juggs first appeared [Not the original version of the issue.] and he looks fat in some panels. Anyone know why?

I know that has nothing to do with the movie. Sorry.

I was simply saying that it would be neat if they made some slight reference to them being related. It would be very easy to make the connection with the helmet and all. Like when pyro and mags are busting him out pyro could ask who he is and what the helmet is for. Magneto could say that it's for the same reason he wears the helmet, to keep the prof out of there. Pyro is all, why would he need that. Mags, because they are brothers or something.

Since they are not referencing their relationship, there needs to be a different explanation, since juggs already has the helmet when he is being busted out. If the explanation is to keep psychics out, then he must have had some trouble with them in the past. Otherwise it's going to be to protect his head when he busts through walls or something. Just seems easier to give a nod to the comics, even if he never comes face to face with xavier.

We were wondering about that for some time... no it's not ice, it's Kitty herself who takes out Juggernaut in that scene.

Apparently, according to Zak Penn, Kitty phases the floor, and Juggernaut's mutant ability to repel molecules makes him sink into the floor.
I have a question about Kitty's phasing in the movie. In one of the recent TV spots they show Kitty trapping Juggernaut in the floor. The scene looks awsome but shouldn't he be dead once Kitty let's go of him and he becomes tangible again? Shouldn't his molecules merge with the floor?

* No, because Juggernaut's molecular structure pushes the molecules in the floor away from him. If it were a normal person, yes.
This doesn't confirm that she actually phases the floor..

The complete explanation of his movie!powers and his helmet have been rather tight-lipped by the writers so far...

I'm sure that they've found a way to make Juggernaut's helmet different than Magneto's..

He doesn't look traditionally fat in any of the older comics,...He reminds me more of the build of Kane or Big Show...I think back then, the focus wasn't always on how ripped up a character was in relation to their physical strength....Notice how lean and fit the characters were back then as well...They also wore loose clothing and weren't all too appealing to the eyes physically. In today's comics, almost everyone is toned and ripped to shreds, no fat on their bodies. They wear tight revealing clothing and many made to look like supermodels and centerfolds...

Of course that's the obvious thing...But as to why he has it on when Magneto frees him could explain another aspect that hasn't been revealed yet..I mean, the guy seems to carry it around everywhere...

i will actually be really dissapointed if juggs needs the helmet solely so he doesn't break his neck or f- up the soft spont on his baby head.

^Maybe in the movie his whole body is indestructible like superman, except for his head where it is normal like everyone else.

Yeah - what a rubbish, and unecessary, weakness if true.

I still stick with the belief that theyve lifted his weakness to psyhic attack from the comics onto X3 - and therefore that is why he has the helmet.

That explanation of Juggernaut's powers really makes sense... I like it.

well Im sticking with my false beleif that maybe they are saying Juggs a mutie because that is what is actually known about him. Maybe we can see Juggernaut in a spin off movie and then we can integrate that with the ruby back story. But I guess Marvel would have to reclaim their Xmen ownership from Fox.

He doesent need to be related to Xavier to have a telepathy-blocking helmet. Prof X isint the only telepath. If a guy was super strong then a tp blocking helmet is good b/c that is his weak spot. Why are you making it seem like the only logical explanation of a tp helmet is if he is related to Charles?

That sounds like the best explanation. No need for any more detail than that.

The writers said they're not gonna touch on that in the movie no.

Maybe a slight mention . . . he and Xavier appear to both be present at Jean's house. Perhaps there?
