The Official Juggernaut/Vinnie Jones Thread [merged - 3]

He will be called Juggernaut because that's Magneto's way. Don't you remember? "What's your real name John?"
Exactly what I mean. They're not going to be calling him Cain or anything and I doubt his real name will even be mentioned.

It's like a cult almost. Like "this is your new name now. The person you once were is dead." kinda thing.

When did they ever mention Victor?
I think it was during Logan''s introduction to the mansion where he first meets Xavier...I think. I just remember hearing the name Victor Creed somewhere and it bringing a smile to my face.

hope he said Sabretooth.

I've seen X1 like 50 times...No one in the movie ever says "Victor" or "Creed"..

Eh. I'll watch it later to check. Got nothing better to do anyway.

He says Sabretooth, and then Logan thinks its stupid and he reapeats the name. I just rewatched that part yesterday.

Yeah, I don't recall seeing or hearing "Victor" in X1. And I always watch movies with subtitles in case I miss something. Yeah, I doubt it if Juggernaut is going to be referred as "Cain".

Ah. Now I remember. Thanks. Now I can dedicate another hour and a half to sleeping.

I love how everyone in the comic world automatically gets a nickname, even if they're too upper class to even warrant wanting one.

I think it's funny that Logan made fun of all their names considering his handle is "Wolverine." LOL

"What do they call you....'Wheels'?" :O

I love that line - amazing when you think that Jackman just ad-libbed the 'wheels' part.

A much wittier retort than "Baldy"

I still find 'Baldy' to be funny. :p
What really sold the "Wheels" line was how he transitioned directly into a disbelieving chuckle... for some reason I don't think that would have come off as well were he to say "Baldy"

I know. 'Wheels' worked the best.

But 'Baldy' is still funny. And mean. And funny. :p

Hi guys. I saw a TV. spot where the top half of Juggernaut was visible and the other half was under ice or cement or something, and Kitty came through the what ever it was.

Was that ice?

Nope. Just the regular, shiny ground.

We were wondering about that for some time... no it's not ice, it's Kitty herself who takes out Juggernaut in that scene.

Apparently, according to Zak Penn, Kitty phases the floor, and Juggernaut's mutant ability to repel molecules makes him sink into the floor.

When someone is holding onto Kitty, can they both go through walls and floors? Maybe Juggs tried to hold onto her and she went through the floor then as he sunk too, she let go or something.

Just a thought.

I have a dumb question

are they calling Juggernaut a mutie because they ae ashamed of the history behind the gem of Cytorak? Or is it that it will conflict in a future Dr Strange movie? I wonder how theyll explain the Shiar in future X films(spinoffs)

He's a mutant because that's just what he is in the film. The gem of Cytorak doesn't exist there. And the Shi'ar will never be in an X-film.
