If anything shes up for lana lang not lois, making a "comeback" doesnt mean shes in the running for a major role. A small role in a major film like this can definitely give lohan a boost. I think snyder and crew know she wouldnt be right a vital role like lois lane.

i'm thinking, regardless of age, they're going to want a face who the general audience is somewhat familiar with even if it's through trailers and co-starring roles. their star (Cavill) is pretty much an unknown thus far (that might change with 'the Immortals') so they'll probably want the 2 other big roles (Lois and Lex) to be played by actors/actresses who are somewhat popular...


...but that's just my guess.

She's only a year younger than Henry Cavill, but she looks younger than she is.

She's adorable though, I've loved her since Donnie Darko.

In my point of view nothing beats Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder. I was hoping that Brandon Routh would return in the upcoming Superman film with a new Lois Lane who is as lovely and talented just like Margot Kidder and Erica Durance. Other than Erica, my vote goes to Zooey Deschanel and Rashida Jones. I don't much like margot kidder or chris reeve as lois and clark. Their interactions are the least painful part of those dated and cheesy movies, but they still aren't what lois and clark look like in my mind.

I love Margot Kidder as Lois and Chris Reeve as Clark. Yes their interaction can be cheesy but I think it's an enduring type of cheese that is great.

I've noticed that people try to discredit the Donner films in order to point out their argument for a new vision. While I want a new vision too, I don't think it's a fair argument at all.

I always thought Kidder looked pretty attractive back then except for her smoker's voice. Maybe the "natural" look is observed since people didn't seem to have to work so hard to look "young."

I was under the impression that Lois is meant to not look overly "hot" or "sexy" as far as what the media likes to depict.
