Thats absolute crap, she has a background in journalism for a start so that could help with character development. Shes a decent actress and yes shes absolutely stunning but thats just a bonus.

I think this is what you meant to say.

Personally, I don't like her acting. I don't like her look (I think she looks like Megan Fox) for Lois, and I don't think she has the presence of Lois at all... in any way... in find it baffling that anyone does.

As for the journalism background, I don't see how that would help. For one thing, to have an understanding of something that is very different in the real world than it is in Lois Lane's world, wouldn't mean much. And for another, she wouldn't be writing the script... just delivering the lines in a believable and Lois Lane like way.

Wilde is a good actress. People think that because she is pretty that she can't act. She is very intelligent also. She has more than enough range for Lois. Because of her background, she could prepare for the role by just studying her own family.

we don't know what's true and what's not. LatinoReview, who is pretty reputable, claims that Ursa will be in the film but there hasn't been any CONFIRMATION. the only things that are CERTAIN are that Zack Snyder is directing and Henry Cavill is our new Superman. everything else is speculation..

Im really liking Olivia Wilde, she's been in my top 3 for a little while now, but ive just seen the tv spot for Cowboys & Aliens and she looks amazing in it, i definitely get a Lois Lane vibe just watching her

I particularly loved her look in ^this pic, just darken her hair a bit and there you have lois lane.

No one has said she has won any oscars, but she isn't cringeworthy either. We have to stop acting like we need the best actress possible for Lois. It''s balance and Wilde brings more than enough to the table to make her a strong contender.

1. Good actress on the rise with a name.
2. Good look and age. (better than McAdams)
3. Starting to headline movies and should be extremely popular by 2012.
4. Eases into the role comfortably, coming from a family of journalists.
5. Extremely smart and well spoken.
