Anna's not the prettiest girl, but she's smart and lovely, she has the energy that Lois Lane requires, I think that's the most important than a sexy look, Superman is attracted by her strong personality, not her looks (there's a comic book he talk to Ma Kent about Lois, that she doesn't have a Hollywood star looks).

The character she played in Up in the Air seems Lois Lane in the begining of her career. And she will be 26 when the shooting starts, she's not that young.

out of the two twilight girls I'd go for Kendrick (ashley is beautiful...almost too beautiful in a way plus she has the weirdest nose EVAH t:)!

Anna Kendrick would certainly be an unconventional choice. I enjoyed her in "Up in the Air", and I admit she has the potential to be a great Lois. The role would definitely be something new and challenging for her. I also find her incredibly attractive, whether she is in her normal business suit or gussied up for a photo shoot (below).

I like Kendrick as a left-field choice, along with Alison Brie (had to find a reason to post another shot of Ali and well, since we just started a new thread).

Can't see Kendrick as Lois at all. I found her incredibly annoying in "up in the air" and also any other roles I've seen her in, IMO she's better playing the mousey busybody type.

Although Lois Lane is usually portrayed as a very spunky hands-on type reporter, she also has a certain sexiness and sophistication that I think Kendrick lacks.

From all the "Twilight Girls" suggested, Anna Kendrick is by far the most solid choice for the role. She has a beautiful natual look and proofed that she can act.
Like Winstaed and other actresses, her young age/ look is an issue...

The only problem is Kendrick looking too young, but she's so talented that I believe that she is capable to show maturity in the role. Winstead looks more mature, just like a woman in her late 20s, which in an origin Superman story is ok. They are both pretty but not gorgeous, Winstead is more classy, sexy, though.

The only thing I wann see is REAL chemistry between the characters, when Bryan Singer told that the chemistry between Routh and Bosworth was great, he was cleary lying, because he had to cast her to have Kevin Spacey. Now, I hope they don't cast anyone because of "suggestions", just because of TALENT.

This photo of Emily Blunt has that Lois vibe to me. Intelligent and inquisitive, with a bit of insolence thrown in to make her interesting. Plus, she's an incredibly gifted, versatile actress. Can do comedy ("The Devil Wears Prada") and drama ("The Young Victoria") equally well. She's my current favorite for the role, since my earlier favorite, Natalie Portman, is most likely not available.

Oh yeah. Actually I don't see anyone complaining about it here, I saw some haters on IMDb boards, but this people are idiots. But you know, WB wants everybody to see this movie.

To me Cavill as Super, Blunt as Lois and Ralph Fiennes as Lex would be awesome.
