I think our definitions differ. Yeah, I think of Lois as not backing down from a fight, willing to slap people who get out of line, and even possibly have taken a kick-boxing class or two. She is more tom boyish than anything; however, she doesn't no when to back down sometimes and finds herself getting into more trouble than she should. So because of this she needs Supes to come in and save her.

Superman: "Lois you know you can just runaway sometimes."
Lois: "Where would the fun be in that? Plus I had them right where I wanted them."
[Lois looks down at thugs while being flown away by Supes] "That's right you better run."

That's my interpretation of Lois. Her bark is louder than her bite, and I want an actress who exhibits that. A tough broad who can hold her own, or at least come off that way, but gets into trouble; thus, becoming a damsel in distress.

A dark hair Keri Russel. I never thought of that. That could work, possibly. I also think the dark hair girl on One Tree Hill, forget her name who was also in John Tucker could work well too, maybe.

HAHAHAHa.....Rachel Bilson can act and she's fine! Never got what everyone saw in Mischa Barton. She looked like a freaking Olson Twin to me lo. Yeah, she was cute, but Bilson looked better IMO. I'm more of a brunette man anyway lol.

It really is isn't it... and it does make you wonder...

I think she'd be great, and I love her character on Dexter... and she definitely has that 'not supermodel good looks, but there's something about her' quality.

I've only seen her in the Exorcism of Emily Rose and White Chicks and she was alright in them so I'd be ok with her.

I like her enough in the roles I've seen, but she has an inherently stiff and boyish aura. It's no surprise she works so well as Deb on Dexter. I wouldn't be confident in her ability to be charming.

And honestly I would've discounted her on looks alone.

I think of it more as a ****ing complete waste of time, money and talent. Sure, the Daft Punk score was epic (was listening to it to and from church the other day). But Disney could have instead used that $200+ million they spent to make it and fed starving children or something.

I loved her in MCU, but can her role was tottaly different than Lois, so the question is can she pull such a part? If so, then hell yeah, cast her!

I'll throw out a left field name who's usually mentioned for other comic book parts...Kristen Bell. Despite being in some, questionable films to say the least, I think she could do a good job with the role, though I think she'd be more in the Teri Hatcher mold and as opposed to Ericia Durance or Kidder. I can certainly see her as the type Superman would constantly have to get out of trouble.

I saw some manips of her on line with dark hair and funny enough, she looked like a mix of Margot Kidder and Parker Posey. One of the pix I saw screamed jersey shore though, so I think they could just give her a black wig.

She's 30 so she might be older then what they're looking for anyway, but she does look younger then that imo.
