I get what you mean. To be honest, I was hoping Olivia Wilde would get the Catwoman role. (While I support Anne Hathaway for Selina, I think she's more in the mold of Lois).

Wouldn't it be ironic then if Olivia Wilde is cast as Lois Lane? It would be like Nolan got his iconic DC women backwards.

It'd be more predictable with Olivia as Selina and Anne as Lois. It's far more interesting the other way. Any other filmmaker would've got Oldman as Ra's and Neeson as Gordon.

I like Olivia Wilde. I'm somewhat concened about rachael mcadam's age in the long run. But they need to dull Olivia up a bit, even by Hollywood standards she's a little too good looking for Lois.

Totally! I'm not against Wilde as Lois. You're absolutely right that Nolan has cast against type in the past to great results, so I completely trust their instincts.

It's just interesting that Hathaway and Wilde (if it turns out to be her) would be in the opposite roles that, as you said, most would predict they'd be in.
