I just finished watching the movie. I loved it. Hopefully though he'll do a good job with Spidey as well.

I agree with Show, 80 million and high school angst reeks Twilight. Expect alot of CW network, teen soap stuff. And what in all likelyhood will be less demanding villains. Can't say I'm shocked if that's the route, but I do hope they try to elevate the material a bit more than that.

I just finished watching the movie. I loved it. Hopefully though he'll do a good job with Spidey as well.

I think we all are hopeful he'll do well or will be given the opportunity to do well and make his own film. It's not him I lack confidence in.

Maybe it's just me, but I just can not recollect a real good teen/high school film that did not involve some sociapathic juvenile delinquent or simply one of those indie type films. I was never a big Juno guy for the record. I get that a lot of those teen movies are indies or a similar style to that in the first place, but for tentpoles, aside from Potter, it hasn't really been featured, unless I am missing something. Singer's X-Men films did a decent job but it wasn't the focus of his movies.

Great actors can be terrible under bad directors, average actors can be good under great directors.

Yep. The common misconception, that an actor is good just because the director shoots his scenes a 100 times to get what he needs, then edits it the way that makes him look good, then adds in a story around the actor to make him seem better, then adds good music to make the actor seem even better then that, then adds in CGI for anything that might make the actor look bad.

Bad acting shows bad directing.

I think unknowns is ok as i have said for Pete and Gwen and so on but Uncle Ben, Aunt May, JJ Jameson and whatever villain should have at least a movie or two experiance. Or at least been in tv for a bit for The Lord Of Rings did teach us low key fame can work.

But also known low key is as good. I would not put stock in the twilight faze if i was Sony for they are considered worse films more so then Spider-man 3. More then teens watch spider-man for its older then some book writers. The fact is spider-man must be a comic movie not a soap for people love comic book films for its action not its key romance of the week

TIH proved that fact if ask me.
