I already downloaded it, I just have to get my game back from loaning it to my best friend.

How does it serve them right when every console has exclusives?
The point is, it serves them right to have lost the exclusive

Plus that's hardly an admission.
Sure, i know that, but for all MS has done since last two year....it serves them right

Some people take company rivalry too seriously. :o
This is not it, not even close, this is all about MS, not Sony.
The thing is, i don´t get it, i bet the majority of people don´t get it ether, i even believe MS is clueless to what MS is doing or wants to do.
Let´s look at Sony for a minute.
They have 17 first party development studios and a bunch of second parties (Insomniac, Sucker Punch and Level 5 being the top 3; the last one, when it comes to home consoles, not portables)
Microsoft has......4 first party studios (Lionhead, Rare, Turn 10 and BigPark), and 2 second party (Bungie and Mistwalker).
Sony said, on E3 that they have more than 20 exclusive games in the making, which makes sense because, if the all 17 internal studios are making two games each, that´s 34 games alone.
Microsoft has..........ehhhhh...Halo and Fable....and that´s it.
The simple fact of living on two games alone is ridiculous, no matter how great they are.
Oh yeah, and they have Gears of War, but Gears is not theirs, so.....i don´t believe for a second that MS will let it go, but the point is, it´s not theirs, it´s Epic´s.
The 360 is, just like the PS3 and Wii, above all, a game console, the key word being GAME, but they clearly missing that point when everything they care is movies, music, Twitter and Facebook.
At this point, the only thing that the 360 has that is just amazing, top of the world, it´s the XBLA, because it seems that that´s what they really care.

In 2010, MS will have Halo: Reach, Fable 3, Gears of War 3 (that´s almost a given), Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction.....of all this games, which are the ones that are going to really be exclusives?
I go with Halo, Fable; all the rest can very well go to the PS3 sooner or later.
The point is not that the games will go to the Sony console, the point is, having a console that just doesn´t care anymore.
Until prove on the contrary, in my opinion, MS is starting to lose steam, and it´s all they fault.
That´s why i say, i´m really glad Sony made the PS3 Slim, and i hope it kicks Microsoft in the face, because they need to wake up.....fast.

I still don't understand why it 'serves them right'. I am very happy with my 360. MS pays for a lot of exclusive DLC for its customers, cross platform games generally look better and don't need 1.5GBs of install to play, and their first/second party games are solid.

Isildur, I don't know what you were trying to tell me in that post.

The 360 isn't losing any steam, I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah, Sony has 34 exclusives coming, but the only PS3 exclusive I actually cared to play that I can actually remember other than MGS4 would be inFAMOUS. One title. C'mon! If anyone needs to get their s**t together it's Sony, for a company focusing so much on games it seems weird that they have so many titles which are also available for the 360.

Microsoft is succeeding in their attempts to create a user experience, and a sense of community within that experience, through LIVE. Just because they're not focusing solely on the games (which are great, anyway) doesn't mean they don't give a f**k about their console. They just had a massive system update that incorporated a bunch of new features a couple weeks ago. I don't understand where you're coming from. What's even funnier is the main point: As of this moment Mass Effect is still an exclusive 360 franchise, you're just making assumptions.:huh::huh:

I'm not being a fanboy by any means, but if the 360 is losing steam they'll catch up to the PS3 any day now.

Most of the time you are still paying money for it (as well as the service to download it I believe) I don't really think they are doing you, the customer much of a favor.

The service to download is free. And Mass Effect is far and beyond better than anything I've played on my PS3. They could have charged me 200 dollars to play it and I'd still be happy with my 360. It was unlike any game I've ever played.

While I love Mass Effect that was probably the most pointless DLC I've ever played. It took me maybe an hour/ hour and a half to beat it all.

i want to dl it but ive heard bad things. some people said it was a fighter

I want to get it because after you've done everything, apparently Shepard gets an apartment that has a medi-gel replenish station and a grenade replenish station. Plus there's access to some X gear to purchase from the apartment.

Thats all true. It would be nice for people that haven't already completed the game but the scenarios are rather boring.

It is just challenges basically, combat challenges, place to place challenges, timed challenges, all combat based.

Edit

Move along, nothing to see here.

Eh, for 400 points and 2 hours Pinnacle Station wasn't bad. Really shallow though. I got top score in every scenario first time through lol without even checking what I had to beat.

When you go to your place, you can get a lot of X Weapons, Gear and Upgrades. It would probably help a lot more if you were on your first playthrough.

Yeah that's the only reason I bought it + the grenades. I started playing at like 2:30 and finished it off around 4. I just wanna hook up all my crew with badass gear and drop all the unnecessary items.

This game along with other unreal engine powered games work great in 3d.
It's like looking at fish inside a fish tank, the screen goes in with depth than simply being flat.

Bioware's games are always bullet-riddled with bugs.

That's true, it's mostly when Bioware use there own engine though.

I've never run into a gamebreaking glitch in they're games, so it's never been a problem with me. Every game has glitches.

It's those horrible, destorying an entire playthrough or save file type of gltich that really gets to me. I've never run into any of those with a Bioware game.

And, I hear horrible things about Pinnacle Station. A shooting gallery, is what I've heard it is.

Bring Down the Sky was pretty cool.

I walked away wanting more, though. But, still it was fun. Busy trying to do a speed-Paragon run on hardcore to just head into ME2 maxed out.
