hope they include or incorporate the new class variations from the ME3 mp into the single player of ME 4.
been reading up on stuff like the N7 Slayer, Shadow, etc. and I think those class variations would add welcome diversity to the sp campaign.
sounds cool, but to me keeping the setting contained to milky way is what made for it to be a believable, realstic sci fi.I think I had a good idea for a new Mass Effect. I think it should be about an invasion from a multiversal civilization, shortly after the Citadel races make contact with multiverse versions of the Citadel. So basically multiverse vs multiverse.
I think this would be a great idea because it would allow anyone's saved file to be canon, being one of the many universes. It would also up the scales from pretty hard sci fi (let's face it, the Reapers weren't truly Lovecraftian. I could comprehend them quite easily) to a wider (multi)verse.
It could allow for cool gameplay options, as well. Going to whole other galaxies is an option, but I think it'd be more interesting to stay in the Milky Way but have multiple versions of the same planets with different histories. Perhaps on th Quarian home world you can switch between it being overrun by Geth, or Quarians, both, or neither. Maybe surviving Reapers from other universes can be used as the "weak" ships in naval battles against the new enemy.
I dunno, any thoughts? Too comic booky, maybe too soft on the scifi?
Very true. It was also great to see how other people played. ME3 multiplayer should help inform some of their decisions for the next game.Agreed, running around the MP with a sword and dashing into enemies to slice off heads was great fun and made a nice change up from the usual gun gameplay. Be great to have that back in both SP and MP, the variations in MP in ME3 showed how restrictive and limited the SP actually was in the end, playing as a Krogan felt very different from a human for example and never got boring.
Besides what was shown here.Have they said much about the new character creation? I'd like to have the option of playing as an alien race, not sure if that's likely. But at least hopefully a tonne of customisation options available.

If you weren't able to attend, Microsoft and BioWare have published full video of their respective San Diego Comic Con panels on Halo: the Master Chief Collection and the next Mass Effect. If you've got 90 minutes spare, you could do worse than perching right here and checking them out - the Halo video's up top with Mass Effect below the break.
If you've been lost in space for the last month and this is the first you've heard of either of these things, let's fill you in. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a remastered compilation of Halos 1-4, and it's coming to Xbox One on November 11. It also includes access to the Ridley Scott live-action Halo: Nightfall series, as well as the Halo 5 multiplayer beta, due to begin in December.

source: JoystiqAs for the next Mass Effect, details remain scant beyond what you'll see in the video below. The game won't star Commander Shepard but a new hero instead, and a new hero with a new Mako, for that matter. As for platforms, release windows, etc. BioWare producer Mike Gamble says the studio's still "years from being able to say that this is the exact game that we're making," so it sounds like we're way off from any concrete details.
That Citadel DLC was so much fun and I was smiling throughout. It really is a big thank you from Bioware and just a fun time.
I'm the wrong guy to try and convince better of any dlc or anything of Me3, guys. iceman, it's not that I'm worried about concepts and jad it's not that by itself it was a bad dlc (for thematic reasons I'd still disagree and I'll explain) but you still have to pay to get it and it still leads to the stupidass ending, no matter what. that's right, you pay more, to postpone you from the horrible ending.Dude it's brilliant. Don't worry about concepts so much.t:
I get all the above. Many people felt the same back then. Regardless though you're missing out on some of the best Mass Effect content full stop. Not trying to force you to play it, just informing you.I'm the wrong guy to try and convince better of any dlc or anything of Me3, guys. iceman, it's not that I'm worried about concepts and jad it's not that by itself it was a good dlc (for thematic reasons I'd still disagree and I'll explain) but you still have to pay to get it and it still leads to the stupidass ending, no matter what. that's right, you pay more, to postpone you from the horrible ending.
this reaper war is supposed to feel apocalyptic, on a galactic scale. If I had the choice I would make my shepard say no, there's no time for this crap. every minute is vital.
it would've been cool as a post ending dlc - but it wasn't one.
I also wasn't a fan of the twist - the fact they tied it to cerberus, anyway.
well here's the thing, if they've secretly been working on a ME trilogy remastered due to be released this fall, they have to have included all the DLC right? i'll get to play it then.I get all the above. Good plan. I'll take any excuse to play it again. If it's gonna be much improved all the better. Would be a great way to build up to ME4 too.well here's the thing, if they've secretly been working on a ME trilogy remastered due to be released this fall, they have to have included all the DLC right? i'll get to play it then.
speaking of which... boy, do I ever hope that this ME trilogy remaster is real. Who wouldn't love to play ME at 1080p/60fps on console???
yep. it would only make sense to release it Q4 this year if Me4 is coming out Q1/Q2 next year.Good plan. I'll take any excuse to play it again. If it's gonna be much improved all the better. Would be a great way to build up to ME4 too.
Sorry missed this. Thanks, will save to watch later.Besides what was shown here.

not much
All that we know is that we'll create the characters our selves while compared to shepard that we played as prior ad their still human, from what it sounds like. We' still need more details about that.
And trying to get out and retire as soon as possible so I can game full-time.haha
at least you HAVE work that you can take off from :P
Can't believe ME4 could be close this time next year. I'll need to take a month off work for it.t:
