Now they can start working on getting Mega Man Legends and Mega Man X onto current gen.
As much as I want an X and Legends collection, they should probably work on completing this collection first.
LAME that it is only 1-6. WTH dont they have 7-10 in there?
The ports on the Anniversary Collection were pretty bad. If these are similar, I'll pass, but if they're closer to the NES games, I'll definitely buy. Plus, these have leader boards for speed runners(I love speed running MM), and it has remixed stages for all games, along with achievements/trophies. To me, as an avid MM player, this has more content. Plus, 7&8 aren't the best MM games, out there.
I'll wait to see what people over at the Capcom boards have to say about it after they play. I can't take another game with shoddy ports.
Boss patterns were different on a lot of them. There was significant lag while jumping(boot up MM2, and start off Bubble Man's stage where there's falling platforms, and you'll see it compared to the originals). Some of the music was rearranged/completely different. There was more slow-down/lag/flicker in a LOT of different areas, etc. And if you had the GC version, the jump and shoot buttons were reversed, and you couldn't change them back. How so? It was my way of playing 4-6 and I didnt have any issue with them
That's because they built a whole new engine for the games, and it only works with the 8-bit games. MM7&8 were 16-32 bit, and don't even use the same engine. 9&10 look like 8-bit, but they're not, at all. So it makes sense from that standpoint.Only the first six games? That's pretty odd. Odd to see the Wii U excluded there, too. I mean, those games are available on the VC and all, but they're also on the 3DS VC, too. Weird collection.

But yeah, I'm pretty bummed about there not being a Wii U version. I'm just going to wait for the 3DS version this winter.
Sometimes old games are the hardest to run.Thats BS that I dont particuarly buy. Thats Capcom's fault. Its not like they couldnt have made one to encompass all the games or create a package that switches between titles. They wouldnt be the first to create a collection of different games. More than likely its bc they plan on selling a volume 2 for the later games, which seems more in line with how they operate
I dont have a Vita but it kind seems odd that there is none considering there's a 3DS version. These are old games and dont take much to run. It could have easily worked as a Crossbuy title

It can't be a straight emulation of the ROMs, because they're including leader boards and video replays. You can't just tack those onto old ROMs and call it a day. Which is why they had to build a whole new engine. My guess with the 3DS version is that it's probably more of a straight emulation of the titles with slight modifications, which is already something done and on the system, so it probably will take almost no effort to do (pure guess work on my part, though).

No, it doesn't work that way.Can you really not? I would think neither of those things would be all that difficultly to just "tack on." Well, I wouldn't say tack on, I'm sure it would take some work, but I wouldn't think that much work would be required. I don't know, though, it just just guess work on my part.
Well, it is a HD upgrade even if it's not 1-10 so that's not much a dream to dare
is this getting a physical release or is it just a digital thing
the report i read said it will still be 8 bit. personally i was hoping for a ducktales style update
