Although I am not a big fan of Superman,I understand he is to him what Joker is to Batman,I just can't stand his movie self so far for the most part.

Okay, that's understandable. He's gotten a bad rap over the past couple of movies. He needs a better edge for sure. I look to the comics when I try to think of an awesome Luthor. I forget that many people don't know that particular side.

Brainiac, captured and controlled by Luthers Corporation

i want to see corprate lex with some evil scientist mixed in

My villain cast.....

Lex Luthor: TBA
Mercy: Taylor Cole
General Zod: Joseph Fiennes
Ursa: Helena Bonham Carter
Non: Dalip Singh
Bizarro: Matthew Bomer (My current choice for Supes) with CG
Parasite: TBA
Brainiac: TBA
Darkseid: TBA
Doomsday: CGI
The Eradicator: Matthew Bomer
Metallo: Kevin McKidd
Livewire: Kristen Bell

I need a little more time to cast those four...

i think spacey did a good enough job he should get another chance

i thought so too but then for some reason I thought of casting a younger Lex would be a better idea...not young like Supermans age but like early to mid 40s

New Lex. Definitely new Lex. I dont want any ties to the Donner/Singer stuff, at least in terms of actors. **** that Judi Dench as M bull****. If you reboot, dont let any of that stuff hold you back.

I wanna see this in a movie!

I wholeheartedly agree, but it needs the right build up, over a period of movies and sequels, to show that Darkseid is one of the baddest in the universe.

^ Sequels aren't guaranteed though, sadly. Darkseid is the baddest in the universe.

If they can't be bothered to make a movie good enough for a sequel, then I don't want to see Darkseid in it.

Seconded. Honestly, so long as they put an actual villain in it that isnt Lex flippin' Luthor, it'll most likely get higher marks from me than SR did.

That logic doesn't totally work for me personally. We're guaranteed a super villain next time around, that doesn't mean we'll get a great Superman film or even one that is better than SR or unites the fan base.

What I was saying before though Doom, even in a new reboot, its longevity as a franchise isn't certain ya know? It's like SR, Singer assumed he'd make another one with Brainiac or whoever but that didn't happen. So maybe a new guy comes in with a new take on things, and it bombs there we go again.

I'm just sympathetic to Darkseid fans is all. It's gonna take a long while to see him on screen, especially if he is considered a villain that works best later on in a series of films. I don't necessarily think so. I think in a whole new origin reboot trilogy kind of deal, he can be introduced in the first during the Jor-El/ Krypton stuff and be the third in the climax ya know?

I've got three suggestions for Luthor... Russell Crowe, Johnny Depp, Viggo Mortenson.

My idea for Brainiac

Brainiac should first appear in a form similar to his form in STAS.

Superman should fight him for a large chunk of the film. After Superman defeats him. It should be revealed that the thing wasnt actually Brainiac just one of many of robots

Superman takes to space and gets pass a large army of Brainiac robots similar to the first one he fought and makes it inside Brainiacs ship where he initially looks like this

After some talking, Brainiac breaks out of the swarm technology and fights Supes

i have that comic, i only bought it cause braniac looked cool.

Actually, I love that they kept her as M. I wish that was the way it could always be done... keep the best of the old, as well as bring in new.

I want Lex, but written like he is in the comics or TAS or anything really as long as he is written well and they really distance him from the real estate schemer/kinda goofy guy from previous movies.

Exactly. There's few things as dissapointing as witnessing a watered down version of a classic villain ala Venom in the Spidey Franchise, or the Way that Galactus was wasted in ROTSS. We don't need to see that happen to Darkseid....

If they're not willing to give him the full treatment and buildup he deserves, I'd rather not have him at all.

In the past 30 years there have been five superman movies and not one of them has featured Brainiac, and I think that is just messed up.

Not just Brainiac... Bizarro, Metallo, Parasite, hell even Mxyzptlk or Toyman.

Say what you will about the camp in the Superman movies, they were a lot closer to using a more serious character like Brainiac than they were Mxyzptlk or Toyman.

The first two... absolutely.

The third and forth, however... they would've been much improved if they had used Mxy or Toyman, not to even mention villains of Brainiac's stature.
