Ha, I have a feeling people aren't going to like the Link's Awakening remake. Hopefully you can hold more items than the original.

I'm surprised they didn't talk about Animal Crossing. They said its coming out in 2019, and we haven't seen anything, other than that small teaser on the last Direct.

I guess those SNES games for Online were just a pipe dream. Overall, not a bad Direct. Mario Maker 2 and Astral Chain looked the best. I'm going to DL Tertris 99, Yoshi and that Mech demo later tonight.

Must've played Link's Awakening all the way through at least five times, looking forward to the new coat of pain it's getting for the Switch. Mario Maker and the two Dragon Quest games also have my attention. Looking forward to the Yoshi demo as well.

Ha, it seems people are calling Tetris 99 a "Tetris Battle Royale", and I guess it is.

Edit: so I just played 2 matches of it, and it's extremely fun. It's most definitely a battle royale Tetris. So fun.

Also Astral Chain looks kick ass and I may pick up that Harry Potter Dating Sim game. Super Mario Maker 2, Dragonquest XI, Deltarune, and Square Enix Reincarnation RPG are also on my list.

Just got home from visiting Grandparents just finished watching the direct super Mario 2 that is awesome I will have to get that being that I never got the first one on the wii u. I suck at making stuff but I will download other peoples levels. MAU 3 comes out this summer that is cool. nice to have a time frame on that now instead of just saying 2019. Looks like I got 2 games to get on switch this year that I known about now. New update for starlink cool. I will have to try the Yoshi demo at some point. Nintendo only did like 7 minutes of Fire emblomed not bad at all thought they would do like 25 minutes just on that. Great direct Nintendo great job! Daemon x machen looks kind of interesting. That racing game by codemaster called grid that company codemaster sounds furmilar for some reason. Oh interesting seeing the new game by platinum games even though I am not that interested in it. I may get links awakening remaster not sure yet I have the game already and I am not always big into remasters but it would be nice to be able to play it on a tv now instead of like a 2 inch screen. May have 4 games for switch now shown in this.

Ha, Nintendo are like peter David. They never give people what they want, only what they didn’t know they wanted.

I’m happy to skip the Zelda remake, I wish they didn’t rely on nostalgia so much but I am keen on that toad dlc.

You know, there is something hilarious when someone says "Tetris battle royale", but god damn, if it isn't fascinating to watch. I am almost tempted to pick it Nintendo Online for it.

Disappointing that there isn't a Mario 64 level editor for Mario Maker 2.

The 3D levels are kind of difficult to do. 3D world is the one that recreates the level design of Mario Maker in 3D. They do seem to adding stuff from the 3D games, or 3D World in particular, so we will see. Mario 2 and Mario Land art would be fun.

Why am I getting news alerts that Scalebound may be coming to the Swtich?

There's these weird rumors that Nintendo has resurrected a game that was considered dead, and some people think it may be Scalebound.

I think it's Metroid Dread, if there's some truth to bringing back a dead game.

Apparently Microsoft no longer owns the trademark to Scalebound and it's adding fuel to this speculation.

I hope so for Kamiya's sake. But, I am not too sure if Platinum is big enough to be working on three big scale games. Though I imagine Astral Chain is almost finished, with an exact release date.

Platinum was also working on that Granblue Fantasy RPG for PS4. but a few weeks ago, it was reported that their work on it had "come to an end" and that Cygames was going to finish it themselves.

so, maybe that frees up Platinum to work on another project like Scalebound.
