The official covers kick ass! I like th 1 disc art better. The fight shouln't be at the waterfall on the 2-disc cover. I wish the Davy vs. Jack fight was on the 2-Disc version.

Disney is working on a solid plot for a fourth film before announcing the film.

Well they sort of have the story already. Jack and Barbosa are looking for The Fountain of Youth. But yeah they do need to work out a great plot that sets it up. I for one will be there the first day it is out. I bet we see it by 2010.

Enough of the unnecessary love triangle, I hope Pirates 4 is as good as the first instalment. A story of just Jack and Barbossa could be awesome if done right.

I think it pretty much will involve the fountain of youth in some way, what I would like to see is maybe involving like Blackbeard who went looking for the fountain and never returned, which that could set up a prequel where there was obviously some history between jack barbossa, and blackbeard or something like that

what I kind of invision is a movie that introuduces old pirates like Blackbeard and maybe long john silver, Captain Hook, and Blood and what not, then a prequel about the treasure Island days, possibley not even with Jack Sparrow, and have that be the spin-off series-get a big name actor to play Blackbeard and have him be the star of a treasure island series of films starring Clive Owen as a younger Blackbeard

you can then continue with the legened of Jack Sparrow make a middle movie, and then make like the Pirates epilouge movie where a new young Pirate (hopefully not, but possibley Will Turners son) finds a old Jack Sparrow in a jail in Austrailia, and Jack trickes him into taking him to the fountain of youth, and rides out his life a legend

^^ both good ideas, but wont happen. the only way theyd get away with 3 movies is by doing them quickly, everyone is gettin old. i dont think theyll do any prequels, just 2-3 sequels with flashbacks or more explanations...

im watching POTC3 right now, downloaded it off a torrent, in the maelstrom now, im wondering why they didnt focus on Jack VS Davy more? its what i wanted to see, and im sure other people wanted to see. id have the maelstrom scene the same except have Jack VS Davy near the end of it and have it MUCH more focused on, i mean people see the movie FOR JACK SPARROW. so why is his biggest fight not the main focus? Jack vs Davy coulda been so much bigger and better. hell i woulda had it the real climax of the film. the way i envisioned it with the trailer, the entire (shoulda been) huge fight between the EITC and Pirates shoulda came down to Jack and Davy, not beckett bc the way he died was great. but IMO, i would have had everyone eventually watching this fight in absolute awe. it wouldnt of had to stay on the mast the whole time either... i have heard rumors of deleted scenes and extended cuts that have more of this fight, but still it should have been the climax and focal point of the final battle IMHO.

Yeah I agree. That's one thing I liked a lot in Curse of the Black Pearl. Even though a lot happened in the end, the main event still felt like Sparrow vs Barbossa.

NICE, although Bill Nighy as best villain???? maybe in DMC, but in AWE, the villain didnt seem to exist. it was Will Turner half the time, and Davy Jones and Beckett the other half...the villain was really the Dutchmen, not so much Davy and Beckett as it shoulda been.

Once again...the final battle shoulda been ONLY Jack and Davy. AFTER the fleet battle. Its THE POTC Character vs the Villain. i loved AWE, but after re doing the entire last hour of the movie, the final fight shoulda bee soooo much better.
