I got one!

How come when Bruce Wayne puts his white shirt on after stiching himself up there's no blood that seeps through? I mean he had to have taken off his jacket at one point while he was at work. Someone would have noticed the blood and immediatly connected it to a dog bite wound. Then they would have connected it to the Chechan or whatever because everyone knows he has dogs and therefore Bruce=Batman.

Unless he has magic blood I say plothole!

He was stiching himself up and then put on a clean white shirt He got his wounds in the Batman costume, not the white shirt. That wound was from the prior night so it wasn't fresh.

We have Gordon telling Maroni he shouldn't have let the clown out of the box, and Two-Face saying The Joker's just a mad dog, and he wants who let him off the leash, but how much control did Maroni ever actually have over The Joker? The mob hired him to kill Batman for them, but it seems like The Joker is pretty much just doing whatever the hell he wants to and is loosely allied with them at best.

Once the Joker got hired...he upped his crimes quite a bit. Note the line about him not wanting to ever go back to ripping off mob bosses. So Maroni in essence got him to become a big viscious pit bull and then let him go.

i think that would have been a fun scene to see... moroni and chechen meeting with the joker and saying... " ok.. you were right... we want your help... so where do we begin?..."

So has anyone mentioned a gaping flaw in Joker's ace in the hole plan with Harvey? If he was also planning to "break down" Dent from the beginning, then why was he ready to blow him to bits with a rocket launcher? If the Tumbler hadn't gotten in the way, and Joker certainly didn't know it was gonna intercept the missile, Dent would've been dead. So you can throw out that entire scheme with Harvey and Rachel being wired to explosives.

Speaking of, was Rachel's timer set faster or something? How could Joker truly be sure that Rachel would be left to die, and someone would have saved Dent in time?

I don't think Joker was planning on turning Dent from the beginning of the movie. He seemed more opportunistic in the movie.

Whether he believed Dent was or wasn't Batman didn't matter. If he wasn't Batman, he would have still had the trap set up to screw with the real Batman, and knowing Batman, he would leave and try to save Dawes himself.

If Dent was Batman, the trap would still have been set up to screw with Gordon, and get him out of the building.





And Joker knew SOMEONE was going to die. He obviously held out on telling their locations until the last second. I don't think it mattered at the time if Dent or Dawes died, or if they both died.


Knowing that Dent was alive, Joker saw the opportunity to use him.


As for the RPG, I think he was just aiming for the front of the vehicle, just trying to disable it, since the holding area was armored.



The whole point of the interrogation scene was to get Batman/Gordon out of the building so he could get to Lau and escape. I don't think it really mattered if everyone died, or everyone was alive. It was just a distraction to the people who he knew couldn't be corrupted, Batman and Gordon.

not a plot hole but in the begining when batman is chasing scarecrow he times his jump then lands on his van which automatically comes to a stop, now why does it do that shouldnt crane just kept driving and to try to get away

Just in relation to the very first topic. I was under the impression that the cell phone thing was supposed to explain all these things. Batman uses a smaller version of it in the film early on prior to the Richard Dent Havey something scene.

Plus did you notice Batman shows up after someone has used a cell phone- Harvey calls Rachel, and Gordon prior to batman showing up to stop him on two occasions.

I do not believe that Mr. Reese ever once said directly to anyone that Bruce Wayne was Batman...

...Then when Bruce saves his life...Gordon and Bruce have a little chat and he says...Something about catching a light...And obviously looks and nods to Reese and asks...Who's in it...How did Bruce know Coleman was trying to pen him to Batman if he never once said so...On screen at least...

...Bruce would only know if Fox told him which never occurred...

I would hate to contribute to this thread...But if someone could back me up on this...That would be great...

Say's who that it never occurred???.

Remember its not like we're seeing every minute of every hour or every day that passes in these movies.

Plenty of things transpire or screen.

Anyway Fow wouldnt have had to tell Bruce.

Bruce saw the news ad about Reese going public with Batman's identity.

They ran a commercial saying something like "This man knows who Batman is and he'll reveal it at 8 pm" and they showed Reese's face in the ad.

Bruce would have reconized Reese from Wayne tech and would have figured that he found something out.

this thread should be called continuity errors and inconsitancies, not plot holes. The only thing that could be interpreted as a plot hole was Joker at the penthouse. The story jumps and that segment isn't explained. Though the reason for it is almost common knowledge now.

TDK is supposed to be set, at most 6 months after begins, in begins you see Mrs Gordon feeding a baby. Now, unless she was babysitting for someone (making it a pointless act giving the baby any screen-time because that shot was more than likely set up to show Jim as a family man), I wanna know how either of those kids could age that fast in such amount of time????

You kind of answered your own question with the babysitting thing. She could have been watching the kid for some extra money or as a favor to a family member. Just because a lot of people assume that was his kid doesn't mean it's the case, any more than a baby being at my house automatically means that said baby is a product of my DNA. Making assumptions =/= plothole. It would be different if the baby was referred to as Jim's son or daughter in that scene, but that never happened.

i don´t think Engel was in the mood for listening "hints" of who batman is ,,, i think he is in fact in some shocked state,,, at least i would been ,,,

Only if there is only one "Fox" in all of Gotham. Besides, what's stopping Mike from assuming that "Fox" is a codename rather than an actual name? He'll deem it as a task of finding a needle in a haystack, in pitch dark to boot and simply wouldn't bother. Besides, even if he does come close to Fox, what is the probability of the Chairman of the Board of Wayne Enterprises (one of the largest companies in Gotham) moonlighting as Batman's assistant?

Mike Engel doesn't HAVE any solid, reliable clues that will point him in the right direction to uncover Batman's true identity. All he has is a name which is too common and too vague to act as the basis to conduct further investigation on.
