Agreed.

Wow, ASM and Young Avengers are great. I love the bit with Cap. :up;

Thanks, Euroq.

Is it just me or has Cassies thing for Iron Lad come out of nowhere? Did they even speak to each other in the previous issues?

she likes guys in futuristic armor (see: Kristoff Vernard).

More importantly, doesn't she realize she's just kissing his helmet?

Who'd actually want to put their lips on Kang's face:mad:

I figured that it was just some futuristic helmet that melded with his face or something, given that he has a nose, mouth, and whatnot.

But yeah, it did seem to come out of nowhere:confused:

It's like liquid metal, it seems, so it conforms to his face well enough, but at the end of the day she's still sucking helmet. :o

It did come out of nowhere, but youngsters these days are so daggum impulsive I can forgive it. Plus, there's the fact that she almost got sucked into a whirling purplish vortex. That might've turned her on... she's the daughter of a superhero, after all. Superheroes dig vortexes.

I know there's a joke somewhere in there about her being Giant-Girl, but it'd take some work:(

has to be if he actually has facial expressions. so, maybe it feels like real skin.

Anyone think that mabey the whole iron lad thing was a "just incase" thing for marvel if young avengers didnt do well??

Like if id hadn't done well they would have made it all never happen by removing young Kang's interference?

I doubt it. Quesada was going crazy over the comic before it came out and believed it would be the greatest thing from Marvel since character resurrections.

.

I liked that too. I loved the connection he makes to Uncle Ben. I don't like all the Bendis bashing that goes on, but I would certainly have to agree that JMS writes a much better Spidey-Avenger than BMB (thus far). That is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to see with Spidey in the group.

And thus proving that even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and a while. :daredevil

That ASM preview looks awesome. And Deodato's MJ is beautiful. :)

Just got this in the mail today. Will spoilerize if anyone is interested (although I won't be online until tomorrow) I'm continuing to love how JMS is writing Spidey as an Avenger.
Because he actually writes Spidey as an inteligent adult, not just for goofy one liners like Bendis does?

Well, I'm of the belief that the whole "Bendis writes Spidey as a man-child" is blown WAY out of proportion (huh, blowing something Bendis-related out of proportion, go figure..), but yes, I like JMS' version better.

I think it's a valid complaint, since Bendis certainly wrote Peter like a rank amateur in the couple of NA issues I read. He comes off as the experienced hero he is in ASM, which makes all the difference in the world.

I don't think so at all. I think it's just his more light-hearted personality shown in contrast to the more serious Avengers. I don't feel that he's coming off as a rank amateur at all. What I do feel is happening is that people are playing pile-on on Bendis.
