And yeah, it wasn't so much a shooter as it was an adventure game, and I think that's the big thing I learned about FP games. While I was never a fan of them, I did learn to enjoy certain games like Skyrim and Deus Ex. But overall, I still prefer games where I can see my character, and if I can customize their looks, even better.
Yeah, the PS3 was harder for most developers to work on, hence why Skyrim for PS3 was so broken that they didn't try to do the DLC for it for a while.
But don't confuse "Best" with "Better". Right now I'm playing Mass Effect for the first time on PS3, and its pretty slid for a game that came out in 2007. But had I never played ME2 or ME3 prior to this, I'd probably rank it pretty high on my favorites list. Not to mention, a lot of people still view Uncharted 2 as the best game of the Franchise, and probably even the best game on PS3 ever, and that came out just about halfway into the console's life. It also doesn't hurt that its an exclusive, so Naughty Dog was designing it specifically for the PS3 and wasn't having to worry about creating two separate but similar versions for different consoles.
