I care about the quality of blu-ray playback and I want a console to be able to play DVDs. Nowadays I would want to be able to watch TV related apps like Netflix while being able to stay connected with friends (stay in a party for eg or just be able to know when certain friends come online while I'm watching). Would never use it for music though and probably not a lot else aside from pure gaming and the above.

It's been less than a week since the FAQ came out, and we have already had two acknowledgements from a higher up at Sony and the FAQ was updated to acknowledge the feedback too. It will most likely be patched in, but that won't happen until at least the new year.

Just relax. Play some games on your PS4 in the meantime.

I ain't saying games shouldn't be the main focus and that MP3 is such a big deal,I just like to play my own music when playing games but whatever

no, we were joking around.

the main focus of a game console should be games. All the other stuff should be secondary features. That doesn't mean you should just remove them, though. especially when they seem so basic like playing mp3s, mp4s, changing the background/wallpaper, etc.

it's not like we're talking about backwards compatibility..........

The positive for me in using music unlimited would that it'd save me tons of time and effort,I don't have much music stored on my laptop or an iPod/mp3 player and yeah I can transfer my PS3 music but IF I want more I may have to use discs again to burn from somewhere then upload them,With unlimited I'd have tons of great options

But I don't want to pay about $20 per month for it

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but Geoff Keighley is going to be hosting some kind of PS4 pre-launch thing on Spike on November 14th where a new game will be announced.

Yeah, I've read a lot of speculation about it being a big Naughty Dog announcement.. Including a new Crash Bandicoot.

Beast do you realize what a new Crash by Naughty Dog would mean to me? That better not be speculation, cause Activision is a bunch of jerks and I'd love their hands to get away from the IP. I just played the first three last week....again...

Yeah I don't think it's ever possible. But there is always a glimmer of hope when I'm nostalgic.

Oh its nothing solid... Just a few people over the Twitter talked about how Naughty Dog said "never say never" to a new Crash game by them.. Probably just got my ut of hand. It's a dream of mine though.

Part of me feels it's gonna be something big.. I would think Sony may have an announcement that rivals the Titanfall exclusive crap EA pulled.

Yes it is. Sony owns the Demon's Souls IP though which is odd that they'd have a spiritual successor made and not just a sequel. Epic Games? They arent a studio one associates with RPGs. Of course this is all speculation. This may not be a Sony exclusive and they may not even be the publisher
