You should get Warframe! It's great and it's free to play! I won't have a psn+ subscription until the end of May.

DCUO is also good.. It's a pretty deep game. I'm rolling a Red Lantern hero and holy crap is his Rage power awesome. DLC is 9.99 a pack but none are really needed ASAP.

I had it on ps3, I downloaded it on the ps4 yesterday. I hope i will be able to keep my character.

Wow. That's with barely any notable games. It's going to get crazy once big games start coming out at a clip.

pretty impressive!!

wonder what the latest X1 #s are.........

I saw 5 PS4s in my local Target this Sunday which was the first time Ive seen that since December

I've been to a game shop last monday, the only ps4 they had was on exhibition ^^. I'm glad I bought one, this is an amazing system.

Don't have the link yet but the PS4 is te #1 selling console in March.

Yup, and Microsoft confirmed that as of March the Xbox One has sold-in (to retailers) 5 million units.

Sony confirmed that the PS4 has sold-through (to customers) 7 million units. Both are doing well, but that's a pretty big difference.

It is a big difference, especially with all the supply issues of the PS4 (although X1 is still not released in many territories). PS4 is blazing ahead but X1 is doing respectably. And like Soapy said, imagine when the huge games hit. When it comes down in price in a few years and has a few years worth of games behind it with hopefully some absolutely massive new games that we don't even know about yet..it's going to be one of the best value entertainment devices around.

I found this surprising. I thought that the Xbox One would have taken the lead in March due to Titanfall, but the PlayStation 4 ended up winning by a comfortable 60k margin.

Im not. I think its fair to write off the "war" from here on out. MS just had a horrible message at the start and it failed, miserably. Gamers buy game consoles. Period. Now hopefully MS has learned that and they can improve on what they have, but in terms of ever catching Sony in sales, nope, not happening. Hell Sony took the sales lead at the end of last gen, really didnt expect that to change going into this new gen. With that said though, I don't think any of it matters in the grand scheme of things, unless you are just really invested in seeing your console sell more than the other guys.

With that out of the way, is there any reason NOT to buy a PS4 used? My sister is gonna go in on a PS4 with me(she really wants that TLOU re-release and im dying for inFAMOUS) and a Gamestop in my area has a couple used and I think we'll go that route to save a little coin. I typically hate buying anything used, but she seems to really want to go that route.

I thought it would but safe to say PS4 will dominate for a long while yet. See what Microsoft come up with at E3.

As much as I like supporting companies... I doubt Sony will be sad if you save yourself some coin, they'll let you slide... This time.

Hah yea my main concern was the controller. I know there have been issues with the control sticks. I mean i purchased a PS4 pad and after ONE use the control sticks were wearing down to the plastic underneath. But I thought I read that might of just been due to a bad batch of controllers rather than bad design. I could always inspect the controller before I purchase the system tho.

Im gonna try to talk her in to going with a new one though. I think the difference is only like 50 bux

I was at Walmart earlier and I was surprised to see they had about 10 PS4's sitting there waiting on someone to buy them. I know they will go quick but it's good to see more systems getting out to the demanding public

Well yeah, but Titanfall was a gamer's game. I kinda expected to have seen the Xbox One do what the PlayStation 3 did when Metal Gear Solid 4 came out and be in the lead for at least one month and then go back to normal.

and the X1 is a game console. Its ridiculous to write it off as not. MS may have put out a different perception when it revealed it, but its since has deemphasized the media aspect and placed more on the gaming, especially leading into its launch and now. Post-E3 has been all about damage control and winning over people that were weary about the console and they've done a great job at that. 5M sold since launch is nothing to scoff at

I would NEVER buy a console used, ever, at least not an expensive one Im serious about. You don't know what the history was with it before it got turned in and especially ones that don't launch, who's major issues typically don't manifest till some time later. How much would you really be saving; what like $50? I personally would just buy the thing new

Not just TFs release but the X1 was discounted at most major retailers that month. It was $449 and even $399. MS did heavy promotion and the PS4 still had supply issues. I also think it's surprising the X1 lost that month

So I bought the Tomb Raider "definitive edition" today on a whim because I was just looking for some kind of adventure that wasn't similar to the last couple games I bought, Infamous or Assassin's Creed, and I'd never played a Tomb Raider game before. Holy crap, what a great game! I'm already addicted. The graphics are just soooo good, and I like the characterization a lot too. For some reason, based on the Tomb Raider movies, I expected Lara to be a much campier "badass chick" stereotype, but she's not like that at all in this game. It's suddenly occurring to me that maybe those movies didn't do the franchise justice at all, lol. I'm suddenly much more on board with the TR movie reboot if they try to make it closer in tone to this game.
