Killzone: Shadow Fall developer Guerilla Games has revealed that its next IP has already been in development for over two years, meaning we could be getting a new Guerilla PS4 game sooner than expected.
In a video showing off the Guerilla offices, spotted by Dualshockers, executive producer Angie Smets said that Guerilla have been working on their new IP for two and a half years.
It had been assumed that, given that Guerilla only recently shipped Killzone: Shadow Fall, their next PS4 game would be some way down the line.
News that a significant amount of development time has already gone into Guerilla's new IP means that we may not have to wait as long as expected.
There have been rumours that Guerilla's next PS4 game will be an open-world RPG as well as suggestions that a reveal of their next game is not far off.
Do update files get interrupted if I watch stuff on Netflix or dvd?

How did Sony lose $1 Billion?,when was this?
I can't tell if you're serious or not.Sell Spider-Man back to Marvel and Naughty Dog to Microsoft. Those are multi-billion dollar deals. Spider-Man would be hard to justify since Sony Studios doesn't have many big franchises. The Playstation division has first-party developers to spare.
And it's been pretty well reported that Sony as a company has been struggling. The billion dollar loss is old news.
Sony and Microsoft are integrating their consoles far too much with their other products to justify a division.I think they should just spin of the games/entertainment division ( all the Playstation stuff ) as a separate company.
MS should do the same with XBOX.
My jaw just dropped with that. i don't see Sony doing that at all. that would be seen as madness.
Im sorry but those would be incredibly stupid. So give the competition ammo to further put them in the hole? That doesn't sound like a bright idea. Naughty Dog is their biggest first party and getting rid of them would most certainly cripple the PS brand. Its not a studio they afford to "spare"Sell Spider-Man back to Marvel and Naughty Dog to Microsoft. Those are multi-billion dollar deals. The gaming division is in the black now but the whole company is deep in the red. The SSM layoffs could be seen as an affect of the companies overall financial problems.
if anything if things got incredibly bad, Sony would shut down their other divisions and keep SCE as its own entity going forward. It would be foolish to take the whole company down when there's one branch that is doing very profitableThe gaming division is in the black now but the whole company is deep in the red.
