From everything I read.. 55 and up.
according to youtube's marques brownie, idk if you follow that guy but he says 4K looks great on any size.
I just heard the new Tomb Raider is gonna be an Xbox exclusive and am majorly bummed. I was even gonna pre-order that **** for my PS4 and I never do that. :(
ya, it really sucks and there's a thread for it now in the microsoft forum

Its as if millions of Sony fanboys suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

I think there is still a chance it will eventually be released on other platforms, but Microsoft and Square Enix are just hurting gamers for making it exclusive in the first place.

so does this mean you're gonna preorder an xbone now/
Hell no. I'm not that kind of gamer, lol. Tomb Raider may be my favorite thing I've played on PS4 yet (and it really is), but I'm sure the new Uncharted will be consolation enough. And I can always watch the "movie version" of TR on YouTube. ;)

Not if said gamer has an Xbox One. Those gamers won't be hurt at all by this news.

and didn't the remastered version of Tomb Raider sell better on the PS4 than the X1??

So they're only hurting 2/3 of gamers then. Much better. :csad:

LOL. Hey, its not all, the gamers.

and didn't the remastered version of Tomb Raider sell better on the PS4 than the X1??

Yea both versions of the game did better on Sonys platform.

It really is an odd deal all around. Guess MS just wanted the game on their platform and was willing to toss a lot of money towards SE to make it happen. Thats the only way SE goes for that.

Yep. Over twice as much.

For a tiny sliver of hope, I am hearing rumblings that's a timed exclusive. Crossing my fingers for that to be the case.

The weird thing to me is when Tomb Raider originally came out SE didn't think it sold well (not counting the X1 and PS4 versions that came later), so they not only make the sequel a console exclusive but put it on the console that has sold the least amount this generation? (Not trolling, but the One is currently behind the Wii U and PS4) I don't get SE's reasoning at all, especially considering the history of Tomb Raider on Playstation.

I feel like I am saying this more and more, but modern gaming is becoming a weird and scary thing to me.

I read one article that suggested this is merely a timed exclusive and SE's reasoning is to take advantage of the Microsoft marketing machine. I dunno how much better Microsoft's marketing is compared to Sony's since I'm pretty new to this whole gaming thing, but I guess that kinda makes sense? Sort of?

PlayStation TV Reaches North America In October, Europe In November. August 12, 2014 . 11:22am

PlayStation TV—originally known as PlayStation Vita TV—will launch in Europe on November 14th for 99 Euros

PlayStation TV—originally known as PlayStation Vita TV—will launch in North America on October 14th for $99 and in Europe on November 14th for 99 Euros, Sony announced today.

The PlayStation TV will come bundled with three digital games in Europe. In North America, you will have the option of buying a $139 bundle with a Dualshock 3 controller, an HDMI cable, an 8GB memory card and a copy of LEGO The Movie Videogame.

PlayStation TV is a device with the innards of the PlayStation Vita, except without the screen and a controller. You can play most Vita games on the device by connecting it to a television and a Dualshock 3 or Dualshock 4 controller.

Sony are positioning PlayStation TV as a Remote Play device that can be used to make use of the PlayStation Now streaming service or Remote Play your PS4 games in another room.

Any article saying its a "timed" exclusive is only pure speculation at this point. Neither MS or SE will tell anyone other wise.

For the record, i think its timed as well.

I've been reading articles on the Playstation TV, and I'm still not quite clear on how it works. Does it need to be in some kind of proximity to your main console to work, or could I take with me on vacation and play the various streaming games anywhere, without having to worry about the console?

What really annoys me is the complete lack of Vita news, I feel like Sony has given up on it...I haven't even had it a year yet and wondering where the games are at!

yeah......hope it is timed exclusive.

otherwise, that is a slap in the face to Sony fans.

how did the PS3 sales compare to the 360 sales of the game?

Yeah, I know it was speculation and should have said so. My point was that the whole marketing thing could kind of explain SE's motivation? It's the only suggestion I've heard that makes it sound like a not-terrible decision on SE's part, lol.

I just think it's weird that the internet is like "MS NEEDS MOAR EXCLUSIVES FOR ME TO EVER BUY ONE!!!"

MS gets major exclusive..Internet reaction..

"BOOOOO! THEYRE HURTING US!!! WAY TO GO MICRODOLLARSIGNOFT!!!"

I hope it stays on XB1.. And remains on XB1.. Like how I hope that MGS will return to Playstation as an exclusive only. I still believe that it's ok and good for these companies to have exclusive titles that make people want to go get said console because they feel left out.

I think it's moreso a multi plat game ( and one that has been traditionally associated with Sony ) is now going exclusive on another console.

The most best feature that it does is that if say your sibling or room mate comes in and wants the living room tv, it won't be a problem for you cause you can just head to your room and if you have a tv there you can continue to play your games from there as shown with this , here are Details the vita tv it's a video not a article

I think the PSTV is like a Vita you can plug into your TV while having streaming capabilities, as long as you have a internet connection for both the PSTV and a PS4 you could take the TV anywhere and play your PS4, depending on the internet connection. There is no proximity limit that I know of and it can do everything the Vita can do like play certain Vita games, and hopefully PSP and PS1 classics.
