Picked up a PS4 the other day with COD to keep my occupied until Destiny. Gotta say I'm really impressed with the feel of the controller, party chat, and overall look of the PS4 GUI

Curious, are you using the standard headset the console came with? Because I find party chat to suck something fierce with that thing. It has such bad audio quality.

It feels fine, but the actual sound quality compared to whats on the X1 is drastic.

I dow wonder how the the controls would work.

I remember Microsoft talked about doing this on their tablets, and I never quite got an answer for that.

Sync the controller to the tablet with some device?

Pretty much all major tablets have Bluetooth support. It wouldn't take much to sync up the DS4 to one. No external device needed for that.

The only time I ever cared about a custom controller was my red N64 controller.

But now that couch multiplayer is dead, it just doesn't mean much anymore.

couch multiplayer ain't dead man! don't you ever ever say that!

Nintendo consoles is pretty much the only place where couch co-op is a thing anymore.

Maybe not THAT short.. But it's pathetic life. More so when compared with the One's battery life or the DS3/360 controller.

You had a Wii U for awhile, is it worse than the Gamepad's battery life? Surely not...
