The Official Pyro/St. John Allerdyce Thread.

Well if they do any other effects with pyro he doesn't need his lighters to do damage so long as some colateral flame damage has already been done. He might not have lighters, but all he needs is a single fire around him and he can still pull some neat tricks.

True, but hopefully Iceman didn't put them out... Because otherwise Pyro's going to be like "Huh? You froze my hands OMG!" And que the headbutting scene because of distraction.

Stil...

FIRE!

Only to fire that he has under his control, I believe.
Well, which is it?.. :p

Wouldn't it suck that Pyro has to control some fire in order to be protected by it? I mean, that's like saying that Bobby can still get frostbite if he stays out in the cold for too long... :D

Without fire... Pyro is only human.
I think something like that should be changed for the movie!verse...But, that's just my opinion...He already has a big enough weakness..

im pretty sure he's immune to fire, because you're like 'oh yeah only if hes controlling it'

but if fire was near him and started to 'hurt' him, ... couldnt he just start controlling it?

I don't know a whole lot about the character, but in my opinion it would be weird to have him be immune to fire altogether. Maybe really resistant.

hmm so if Pyro is taken to the xjet, what will happen 2 him? would he still be alive *hope he is*

Rogue seemed to be the only one who cared for him the most. I'm sure Bobby did too, but he didn't act like it when Jean revealed that he'd gone with Magneto. He must've been pissed about the incident at his house. And hearing rumors that Bobby clonks him out cold and takes him back to the jet, it's only assumed that Bobby wants his friend back. *Que awww*

And speaking of Bobby, that boy has 70 pages worth! Us Pyro fans can do better!!! *Attempts to boost up number of messages as well because of wanting an avatar.*

I think the whole has-to-controll-the-fire thing is there so that, if he was for example unconsious in a burning building, he could burn to death. I mean, he's not exactly made out of asbestos, is he?

yes, he is made of asbestos
my cousin's ex-roomate once crashed his car into this extra from rush hour, apparantly the guy knows chris tucker, who is friends with bret ratner, who told my cousin that wolverine trips on a dr. pepper can, then accidentally sliced pyros chin, asbestos poured out of the wound, and professor x wanted to see what asbestos smelled like, then it cuts to his funeral.

LMAO!:D

I think it's about time we talk about Pyro's role in the clips released. He's a little kick-ass. His interaction with Quill is brilliant. He clearly wasn't impressed by his show of powers.

Pyro should've fried Quill's sorry ass.
And then ate him if you ask me. :O

Pyro is above Level 3 according to Callisto. Kind of surprised that Callisto herself, and maybe Arclight and Psylocke weren't level three too.

I love how Pyro was smirking at Quill when he went all porcupine.

From what I heard, X3 takes place right after X2... And from what I remember Pyro wasn't all that trained in his powers in the 2nd film. Sure he did a hell of a lot of damage at Bobby's house, but in the clips for the new film, he really progressed. Is it possible to become (from what we've seen in the clips) that powerful within a short amount of time? Another thing, Pyro acts slightly different. He's more quiet (despite his being 'minion to Magneto' and speaking up when his leader is threatened,) and seems a lot more mature.
