I love how Pyro was smirking at Quill when he went all porcupine.

From what I heard, X3 takes place right after X2... And from what I remember Pyro wasn't all that trained in his powers in the 2nd film. Sure he did a hell of a lot of damage at Bobby's house, but in the clips for the new film, he really progressed. Is it possible to become (from what we've seen in the clips) that powerful within a short amount of time? Another thing, Pyro acts slightly different. He's more quiet (despite his being 'minion to Magneto' and speaking up when his leader is threatened,) and seems a lot more mature.

It doesn't take place straight after X2. About 8 months has passed according to the writers.

So Pyro has had time to mature and develop his powers. I think we can expect him to be a lot more witty at other times, but Magneto is just one of those mutants that commands respect.

8 Months?! That's still short IMO.

But I agree with you, if I was on Magneto's side (which I someday will be *crosses fingers*) I too would have a lot of respect and keep my mouth shut... He's an intimidating mutant, powerful, and just plain awesome.

That would have been pretty cool, eh? Yeah, before my time though - I've never met him.

But I feel the desire to support him all the same - he's a great Pyro too.

I worked in a video store there though, and a friend and I were pretty psyched when we realized we had a movie come in that had a Westford kid in it ("Tadpole") - we tried to pump it up on the little whiteboard behind the desk: "Rent Tadpole - starring Westford's own Aaron Stanford". And another girl from the high school recognized him as well and wanted the poster.

Other than that though, I don't think the town really knows about him, lol.

I think most of us here would go hyper/embarassed/giggly/stupid upon sight of aaron stanford, me included.
