This is already out? I haven't seen one TV spot or anything. I guess it really was awful if they didn't even promote it at all.

doesnt come out till April in the states. Its out in Asia right now, they promoted heavily there.

It was released in Japan already and it leaked everywhere on the internet. It was even on Youtube.

And I doubt you'll be seeing that many TV Spots even prior to the release here.

No. It was released almost a month earlier (last week) in Asian countries than it will be released in the states (April 8th). Naturally, people have recorded it and uploaded it to the internet.

Saw it and I must say I don't even count it as having anything to do with dragonball.

It's easy to do that, because if I try to connect the two my head might explode.

I grew up with Dragonball and seeing this left a bad taste in my mouth.

To make my self feel better I went back and watched episodes from the anime

Just remember that this movie is an ADAPTATION. Be happy that fox even put dragonballs in the movie lol.

its not excuse for you thinking it was a poor movie, it being an adaptation is an excuse for it not being close to source material. stop fishing.

the problem is that DB:E is probably as far from the source material that you can get without royally pissing every single DB fan off. plus, like Craig said, this movie would suck even from a non-fan's point of view.

I agree. I would be happy if the biggest complaints I had were about how they adapted some of the material. It was just a poorly constructed film.

i think ultimately everyone problem with the film revolves mostly around the story, which is attributed to the length. Do you feel as if they lengthened the movie and was able to fit more stuff in that you would have enjoyed it or was everything else that bad??

And the dialog was pretty terrible.

ya some of the dialog was very childish and poorly written. Also very little action scenes for an action style anime/manga.

Agreed. The only one I remotely liked was Goku vs. The Bullies. Just knowing that was the best fight in a Dragonball movie makes me want to vomit a bit in my mouth.

Yeah that was the only one that seemed to be any bit dragonball in spirit to me.
