As for a beau for Rogue: her hand. She should stay single if she isn't with Gambit. I don't say that because I'm a Romy shipper (I'm not), but because she does better on her own and another romance would bring all the problems of Romy but would lack the history.

Very well said!! I am a "Romy shipper," however. I am sick of all the angst though.
I can't picture Rogue with anyone besides Gambit. I think it would feel forced. She has expressed her love for Gambit. It should be him or nobody.

No Rogue/Wolverine action. That's just sick. I saw the cover of Rogue kissing him and I about vomited myself. There is no Gambit replacement, sorry. Rogue has no other equal for a love match. She's more woman than most men can handle, just like myself. Let the poor thing be single until Remy comes back to his senses. Let them work out their issues.

Oh, come on! A girl needs some variety (and I do not mean the five-fingered discount kind). I adored the Joseph/Rogue/Gambit triangle, and I'm a ROMY shipper too, but if they're going to have Rogue and Gambit going through all these PROBLEMS, I want a break from it every once and a while.

PS...if they went with my Pulse/Rogue thing...there would be no PROBLEMS with the touching...

PSS I just wish they hadn't used him as a cheap plot point. They could've made the Gambit/Rogue/Pulse triangle EXCELLENT, on par with the Joseph one, but NOOO. They had to play it cheap.

Mike Carey didn't say that Gambit and Rogue were finished. He only said he wasn't having an immediate romantic reconciliation. As for their future, we are assured of a Romy wedding someday, like five years down the road or so forth.

I don't think Gambit and Rogue have made sweet love when Rogue has her powers. That would be dangerous. Gambit wasn't afraid of a kiss though. When they were depowered, they certainly did. Why they didn't get married after being depowered and going to Valle Soleada is anyone's guess. Don't answer, Rogue's Hand, I know what you think of that.

They need to cut out the angst for my people. And give Rogue a solution to not being able to control her absorption power.

I'm still mourning my Remy. I'm his ex-wife after all.

And it's about time something nice happened. I've been dreaming of it since I was 12. And yes, they'll find a way for Rogue to touch him and make love to him without killing him. That'd be a pre-requisite for them to marry.

Sorry, but I'm a Gambit fan and thats precisely why I don't want Rogue anywhere near him. She's a self-absorbed hypocrite who constantly does everything in her power to drive away the only person who's tried to stand by her through thick and thin, then she flips out when she successfully drives him away. Gambit (and I as a fan of Gambit's) can do much better without all that crap eating up his panel time. I seriously hope he tells her to shove it when he returns.
