he got to work with rogue, lorna, gambit, iceman... some of the coolest characters and he had larocca as his illustrator.... he still could not pull out ONE interesting storyline. all the characters whined and had love triangles... they never seemed to really fight anyone and nothing ever got resolved. if it wasnt for rogue, i wouldnt have wasted my money

when i made this thread i wanted it to be about the COMIC rogue only (i was really frustarted after with what they did to rogue in x3). i think it fits here since she will be leading the x-men in july and whatnot.

there was a big conference about x-men... basically they said who the team is (rogue, cable, iceman, mystique and sabertooth assisting, not a member of the team)

Hmm.. I always wanted to see Rogue go off the deep end, get drunk with her ability to absorb powers, lose all her reservations, just for a bit.

And watch what that did to her mind, I mean, if you could absorb the entire of humanitys collective consciousness (bit by bit) you'd be able to learn EVERYTHING.

I mean, if she realized that, if she had a desire to learn, as well as touch, I'd like to see her get drunk on BOTH types of power: Knowledge and Ability

Like most Rogue fans, I want the old comic Rogue we all love. Tough and kick-ass. Wish she'd have Miss Marvel's super strength and invulnerability again. I want the Southern powerhouse back.

I hope they drew her well again. I wasn't really a fan of how Larroca drew Rogue in the recent X-Men issues. She was NOT her USUAL sexy self. I want her stunning physical appearance back.

I wish Jim Lee would draw the X-Men again.

So do I. I also want the 90's versions or Gambit and Storm back. When will Marvel realize that sales will only go up again if they do things the cool and recognizable way again???

I don't know. It is hard to think of an intoresting way for her to get those powers back. It would be boring if she simply absorbed them again. Maybe if it was somehow explained that she never lost it in the first place, the Ms. Marvel persona was just way in the back of her mind and it gets unblocked?
I don't know. It's a start.

That idea sounds pretty good.

Maybe the x-men could encounter the kree somehow and than they could reactivate the Ms. Marvel powers in Rogue since that's where they came from. I don't know if this is true but I've heard Rogue still has the kree within her DNA.

Another option could be Sage doing a power jumpstart with her mind to show that those powers were not actually lost. They could say Vargas' sword just caused that part of her mind to stop working or something like that.

The way she regains those powers won't matter to me as long as the writer(s) comes up with a good explaination for it.

I agree completely, Larocca made her look really bad. Bachalo seems to have a much better feel for her in the few pictures we've seen.

larocca can not draw women, except storm. his work in x-treme was beautiful but in x-men it sucked. bachalo is def an acquired taste but he always draws rogue beautifully.

im happy with the direction it seems rogue will be going in.

btw, off topic of the comic rogue, but i got my rogue x3 poster today! (the second rogue poster where it is closer up and with the x3 logo) some creases in the middle but it was only 15 off of ebay
