Thank you, I love it when people admit I'm right. :)

Dude, I'm one of the biggest Rogue fans, but I'm also realistic. Right now Rogue's character is not good. It's why I'm not reading any Marvel comics right now.

Hell, her character ain't even **** in UXM.

I miss the 90's.

And I was only a toddler during her golden years!

Doesn't stop me from missing it.

Psssht, I just miss the ****ing jacket. Rogue looked GREAT in that uniform.
 
That one and the one she's wearing right now are the only good Rogue costumes anyways. :p

*nods*I miss it too; the classic UXM when the new team-when Rogue had just been accepted in them and was starting to be developed more as a character and a certain cajun had only just joined the roster-are long-gone now and something just seems to be missing, I think!:(

Really...I like Rogue, I do, but she does need to be put back to her older self-heck, I'll even accept this new costume that I blinked at the first time I saw it,as long as they get rid of the death touch and return her to the superstrength/flight/ temp.absorbing memories-powers hype!!They have royally messed her up the way she is now!!!
 
Her current powers suck, and I haven't even read the issues about the damn things.

I don't neccesarily want her back to her Marvel-powers, but I do want a return to her old characterizations.

Not the self-hatred, but that certain edge that she used to have.

And on that note...

Hey. I love the current costume. Green is SO her color.
 
as much as i like romy, i really dont want those two back together. though the idea of those two fighting it out with their powers is something i would love to see. i love that gambit is on the bad guys team, he's more interestiong that way and rogue...i like her better without him, though i'll agree with you all, kinda missin' miss marvel's power. but i dont mind the death touch. (just freaking wish she would drain cyclops and gambit already! but that will never happen:csad: )

I love how much Scarlet's opinion shifts during this post. Starts out liking Romy, shifts to wanting them apart, continues to wanting them to brawl, likes both better now that they're independent, then wants Gambit dead.

EVEN if you don't like Rogue...

You have to admit that in the beginning her character was one of the most original Marvel had created in a long time. She was intriguing. The problem is that Marvel never really changed her character for years and years. When they finally did, they did it in a BAD way. A BAD WAY.
