I am confident Mcfarlane s going to deliver the sequel it s just a matter of when. Whit all DC and Marvel movie making big do$ I don't see how he can sit back and relax... But he better hurry before comics movie = cheesy movie.

i want to see (if they make a sequel) spawn "upgraded" outfit....ive always liked that one better......His cape isnt shreded anymore, he has added spikes to his hands feet and arms and he has the power to morph his chains...not to menchen his cape...(obviously)

The Image version with Mcfarlane and Miller was pretty decent.

Oh ok you edited it to make sense lol before you just had you were going to buy a few. That made it sound like you were going to buy a few copies of the Batman/Spawn crossover book. I replyed that buying a few would cost you .75 cents (not that any other Spawn comic wont set you back a quarter lol)

I don't have an opinion on MJW, he barely registered for me at all in the first film.


Anyway, the Spawn sequel has been in developement for forever. And I hate to dissapoint anyone, but every version of the sequel has it basically ignoring the first film, having it focus on Sam & Twitch, and having Spawn be a background supporting character at most.

There is no development on a Spawn sequel, McFarline has said time and time again he doesn't want to do it again. It's just something someone randomly put on Wikipedia and IMDB, which are both pretty much 100% user submitted content.

I enjoyed the first movie--not the greatest, but not the worst either. Read some of the comics (notable the Batman/Spawn crossover and some TPBs of it).

As for Spawn 2...doubt it'll happen. Also, Antoine...dig your cast, with the exception of Clown. Lugozamo NEEDS to come back if a movie is made, he was damn near the star of the first one.

Question...has anyone read the new series of Spawn with Bendis and Ashley Wood? Is it any good?
