About a twelve or so. God he actually used to be my favorite X-Man too.
Beast is mine, so it gives me a nice air of superiority to know that he's the only X-Man who saw what a monster Cyclops was becoming and quit rather than contribute to his downward spiral. :)

Beast is a favorite of mine too. I liked Cyclops better before he started getting crazy.

I believe you can still blame his crazy on bug room madness. So, at least he's still got an out....I mean, how many people can deal with the fact that they got a room full of talking bugs in their head?

Of course it's f**kin' Morrison. :o

Drugged out Genius went Morrioson all over the X-Men's face and boobs.

Colossus got revenge on the gangster who killed his father while Beast & Archangel recruited the X-Club.
Oh thanks. I didnt like that and felt the arc was a snooze

I wasn't horribly impressed with it but it probably WAS the better arc of Fraction's run.

What's so great about Beast? He disagreed with Cyclops's choices. But instead of doing anything about it he just acted snarky and bratty, and turned his back on the X-men, his friends, and mutants. Beast could have caused a "schism" but he just didn't.

Cuz causing a Schism will only lead to all the crap that will inevitably happen because of the Schism. Better to just say f**k them mofos and move on.

I thought he came across as a whiney punk as well, especially when he made a big deal of leaving bc he couldnt accept what was going on, only to come back and start whinign out at Kurt's memorial service (which was the wrong place and time for that nonsense). And when he left the X-men, he still didnt tell anybody else about X-force and kept that a secret, essentially being apart of the problem

Meh, good intention executed badly. Blame the writer for f***ing it up. :o

That arc won me over as soon as Dr. Nemesis interrupted their conversation to shoot a car full of super-Nazis. By the time Dr. Takiguchi summoned his Godzilla rip-off, I was in heaven.

Has Matt Fraction ever written any good stories for Marvel?

Iron Fist definitely. The Order. Cassanova. He wrote the last Sensational Spider-Man annual that I read when I was reading that that was just fantastic (and made OMD afterwards about the stupidest thing ever). He's also got a pretty hot redhead wife who's a good writer (that's like fifty bonus points right there). Thinking about it he does much more good than bad and his bad is no where near the level of some other stuff.

I've been reading Marvel a good long time and I've never heard of that shumaa gorath thing from Marvel vs capcom. The hell is it and where's it from?

Started out in Conan.

He's an old character created by Robert E. Howard who created Conan, and when Marvel was publishing Conan comics, they used him. He fought Dr. Strange a few times I think. Now that Marvel no longer has the comic rights, I ain't exactly sure whether or not they can use him anymore.

Then again, at this point Conan and all the characters might be free reign.

I liked Kulan Gath. He was an old Conan guy who changed Manhattan into D&D world. Everybody had their avatars. Cap was this long haired fighter with his round shield. Scarlet Witch was there. I think Nightcrawler was a pirate. Gotta go re read those.

Love Conan.

I remember Spider-man was immune to it for some reason. Although looking back/ahead now, that JMS totem stuff makes a Hell of a lot more sense.

:D

:ff: :ff: :ff:

Can anyone give me a chronological reading list for "Fear Itself" and all the tie-ins so far? Wait, there is too much...
All I care about is the core mini, the Avengers tie-ins, Iron Man, and Uncanny X-Men. That's it.

So Colossus is the Juggernaut now? When'd that happen? Is this one of those "Fear Itself" things?
