There's a line in the Avengers movie where he's like "I don't like being handed things." I think he was just screwing around because he didn't want to deal with Coulson. So no, that's probably not in the comics.

In the comics he was handed things all the time. Mostly various liquids in glasses. He seemed to like it well enough.

Yes she's alive and probably around 19/20 by now. She's currently a vampire and set to be the lead character of the upcoming female X-men team

Thanks. When does this come out? And why is she a vampire?

She was caught in some sort of exploding vampire bomb thing that infected her in X-Men #1 (from a few years ago). She found ways to overcome the initial blood lust and is working to control herself. It was a main storylie for Gischler's run on adjectiveless X-Men (the series that just ended). A lot of people criticize the story but I really enjoyed it.

And the new adjectiveless X-Men comes out in about a month if I had to guess.

It wasn't just Coulson. In Iron Man 2 (where it started) the federal agent that subpoenaed Stark to the senate hearing had to hand the papers to Happy, and when Tony bought strawberries to apologize to Pepper he told the fruit vendor to put them on his passenger seat.

Well, I guess that's what I get for dropping the series right after that particular revelation. I'll have to read it all the way through sometime. Glad to know Hickman fixed everything, though.
You really should, even if it does end a little anti-climatically. It feels like the series should have lasted another 6-12 issues but Hickman does give it a proper close and reveals that Fury is far from stupid or oblivious. As far as political/espionage thrillers go, Secret Warriors was great.

Now you make me want to re-read the series...

I think I'll be checking it out now. I've been in the mood for that kind of story and I really enjoyed Hickman's S.H.I.E.L.D. and I'm really digging New Avengers.

I thought Secret Warriors lulled a bit in the middle, but overall it was a really good read. Sadly, the art declined as the book went on. I'm not a big fan of whoever the artist was the second half of the series.

So do we have a rough estimate to how old Cable is? He was born in the around 10 years ago comic time and when he showed up he was an older guy. He spent a few years with X-force and deadpool and then around 15 years with Hope. So unless he has pre-mature greying I'd have to say he's in his mid to late 60's?

He was at least late 50s when he went into the future with Hope. He'd probably be early to mid 70s now. Doesn't make a whole of sense that he's as fit as he is since nothing like that is related to his powers. Im always waiting for him to break a hip and deal with real health issues that a senior citizen like he would have to deal with. Especially with the life he's lived, you'd figure he'd have caused some serious damage. They really should have just written something into the plot to explain this all away. Maybe when Hope used her Phoenix powers to heal him from the TO virus, it did some superhealing and made him physically fit like a 30 year old

Last Wednesday in May.

So, what has Janet (Wasp) been up to?

Didn't read the arc myself, someone else can probably fill in more details, but apparently in one of the last stories Bendis told in Avengers, her "death" in Secret Invasion actually had her transported into some kind of micro, micro, micro universe, where the rest of the team found her alive and well and brought her back. Don't think she's popped up much since, but she'll joining the Uncanny Avengers team in the next issue.

Over in X-Men, how and when did Karma get her robot leg?

Hmm, I seem to remember Cable said he started going grey prematurely (memory's fuzzy since what I'm remembering was from around post-Onslaught)

I always got the vibe that he was older, but, he's probably close to that age and in shape "cause comics" hah.

It happened in the Second Coming crossover. The New Mutants were battling Cameron Hodge (in his spider/scorpion robot body) when he stabbed her through the upper thigh and sorta just flung her around for a while as he fought the rest of the team. I don't recall if he eventually cut off her leg or if it had to be amputated later, but she lost it.

Then Madison Jeffries made her a robotic leg to replace it which he thought was sexy, though she disagreed. I don't recall if that was in Second Coming or the issues of New Mutants immediatel following Second Coming.

No, you're right. That's how I remember it too.

Well he was going grey when he was a kid. We saw him with white hair in the Cyclops and Phoenix mini

What's Iceman up to?
He is teaching at Wolverines school.

Iceman went on a date with Kitty Pryde but they agreed to just be friends. He is currentley freaking out his younger self in All New X-Men and hunting down AoA Nightcrawler in Astonishing X-Men.

I had stopped reading NM so I missed this but is it true that Karma is dead?

I know she was in Liu's Astonishing X-Men run as of the time I dropped it sometime early last year (maybe an issue or two after Northstar got married). Beyond that, I don't know.

I think I read she was killed off and replaced by an alternate reality version in NM but no details beyond that

In Age of Ultron Tony Stark has some Tron suit thingy on, why?
