Question

What happens to all the 33 comics that are ending in May ?

I have a subscription to Amazing Spider-man , along with a couple others , will they get replaced by one of the Secret Wars titles , then revert back to the regular title once Secret Wars is over ?

I guess what I'm asking is , what happens to my Amazing Spider-man subscription after May ?

Would everyone be okay with Reed solving Thing's problem and being able to change form back and forth at this point? I mean, people seem to be okay with Cyclops not needing his visor and Xavier regaining the use of his legs, so I'm curious.

And Rogue has mastered her pet now right? She can turn it on and off?

I think that Bens condition is more integral to his character than what Scott or Xaviers was. Ben has always been the good man trapped in a monsters body and a lot of his character comes from that. Scott was more the leader who can't trust himself and Xavier had the whole powerful mind/useless body thing going on but while they were more aspects of the characters they weren't really the definition of them like Bens is.

Also, Xavier lost and regained his legs like a dozen times by now so it's not like it's too weird to see him going jogging.

And Rogue has mastered her pet now right? She can turn it on and off?

:wow:

Has the recent Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver parent thing been resolved? I've heard people talking about them now being Inhumans, but has that been confirmed? The last news I can find is simply that Wanda's spell didn't work because Magneto wasn't her father.

As far as I know, Wanda and Quicksliver are looking into their past in Uncanny Avengers.

OK, but it hasn't been resolved yet?

I was wondering if they were going to reconcile it with the events of House of M and Son of M.

What are the best stories focusing on Sam Wilson/The Falcon.

In the current Avengers comics Rogers has suddenly gotten old, did i miss something? Because i don't remember that happening.

It happened in Cap's book a while ago. Cap went up against Iron Nail and lost his super soldier serum

Again. He seems to lose it or get killed by it every decade or so. Maybe he should have any of his buddies with time machines go back and get the formula so they can fix him whenever it happens.

Of course. And I'd be fine with that, if he finally embraced his form. Bothers me after all this time that he hasn't. Almost seems out of character at this point too. He lives in a world filled with mutants, inhumans, aliens, androids, etc. and has had so many adventures on different planets, galaxies, and dimensions to see how magnanimous the universe is compared to his little slice of Manhattan, you'd think it'd open his eyes a bit and change his perspective a bit. It makes him out to be a huge coward and makes Reed look like an idiot. It's a plotline that really should be retired.

I've found he's mostly fine with it just annoyed about it. It's something similar to how people with disabilities deal with things, they'd like to be like everyone else but deal with how things are.

For a fairly new Cap fan thanks to Brubaker's run, How is Waid's "Man Out of Time" story?

Does anyone want to explain what's going on in this 'Time's Run Out' storyline? So much context I'm missing. The Marvel Wiki isn't really helping me out either.

I've never encounter Hank Pym growing big enough to enter the Macroverse before. I get that he can poof! disappear into the Micro/Macroverse, but when he gets too big for our universe how does he not crush Earth? Or does he not need to really get that big to go to another verse?

Does X-23 still go by the name X-23? I mean, that was her laboratory designation, right? It sounds kind of...demeaning.

Does Stick have radar sense like Daredevil? How are they different in their powers?

From what I remember he sort of does but he earned his naturally through crazy training. He's also extremely badass. For reference see the first season of Daredevil on Netflix. :o

Yeah, that's pretty much right. I don't recall his senses being as pronounced as Matt's, but I don't think they addressed it either way. He is certainly just as skilled a fighter as Matt and, when combined with the rest of the Chaste, has some supernatural powers.

Since no one answered this: When I had subscriptions in the 90s, and the Spider-Man titles ended/changed names they would start me on a comparable ongoing title that was started at that time. When they decided to merge all the books into one title, they just tacked on what was left of each book to my subscription to the one title. I believe they sent a note with one of my comics explaining this.

X-23 is still her codename as far as anyone can tell. When she joined the New X-Men I know she was briefly called 'Talon' but that never stuck.

I know she goes by Laura as well but her code name has stuck as X-23.
